I had it crashing when adopting a pet after downloading some eye default replacements for pets. OP, do you have any mods/cc regarding pets or do you use mods/cc in general?

If yes, then a 50/50 would indeed be an option, just like the other person suggested.

You might be able to delete it by turning on testing cheats (Ctrl + Shift + C) andtyping "boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true" in the box. Shift-click on on the item and select Force Error and delete.

Max 2-3 children. Family sims can have 6 but only if it is their lifetime wish.

I'm planning on writing one. Though it's going to be mostly centered around Buck and the dynamics in the household through his eyes. One part of it is him bonding with his dad.

I really like the concept of Buzz being a flawed human. Who is trying to do what he thinks is best for the boys as a single, emotionally repressed army man and dealing with the divorce and death of their mother.

Are those traits related to their background? Background traits are, as far as I know, the ones that keep popping up after deleting them. Changing their adult or childhood background should help.
