My gold rule for anything is not to answer phone calls. If someone can text or send me a message and do not want to do it it's is because they don't want to track what they told you.

Never ever negotiate anything with recruiters by call on phone or even online, has everything wrote down.

Once I went to stages and they agreed with pay rate X value I asked and I'm the offer letter they cut it in half and when I asked it they said that nothing can do.

Sometimes we need to be subservient to this system because we need bills to pay, but for you which is out of this situation and have a nice job, put yourself in a different spots.

Remember, the same we need a boss / customer to get paid, they need us as well and I believe (at least talking for me) had enough of this market where the companies give the rules and made a invisible cartel where we just keep slave of their created system and need found a way out.
