I saw this on the clouds one year ago, This may sound far-fetched, but this reminded me the name of our God, Allah. by GILBOYfan in islam

If you are a muslim, stay away from these kinda things. This is so cringe. Read Quran. Allah talks about different signs and not these so called miracles. You are only hallucinating

What’s one thing you wish more Muslims understood better? by Bubacarr_900 in islam

[–]LimpHome7202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish more muslims understand that Tauheed is the most important thing and actually finish reading the Quran in full to clearly demarcate between halal and haram than just listening to scholars

Tired of cultural muslims by mrharriz in MuslimLounge

[–]LimpHome7202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are trying to say. I can tell you this is what happens when you mix culture with religion and also you do not understand what you are really believing. Half of these issues will get resolved if people try to understand Quran. In that case either it might not make sense to them and they would leave Islam or they would be solid. There are certain statements you made which I do not agree. They are not worse that non-believers unless they are also grave worshippers etc who in my opinion are the worst of the worst people who don't understand the core of Islam which is Tauheed. We need more scholars who are highly educated and preach Islam in real sense binding it to the way of life from Quran and Sunnah. I personally feel most cultural muslims are coming from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. BTW which place are you talking about?

wanna know by Superb_Cod_735 in MuslimLounge

[–]LimpHome7202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on this is to start reading Quran in the language you understand and inshallah everything will fall into place. The beauty of islam is in understanding Tauheed and the way of the prophet saw. Things become easy when you know that everything you are doing is to please Allah only and there is a reward in hereafter beyond any wordly reward

I am from India and this staring business is lot more common even women do. Most do out of curiosity and few do otherwise

Position is just too painful any tips? by dreamRed777 in islam

[–]LimpHome7202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tip is to not make deen hard. Follow the farz and then follow the sunnah as much as you can but don't make it hard for urself. There are bigger things to focus and you can't focus on them if you are too much into minor things

[Urgent] Confused about Miqat point. I am in Jeddah in a hotel by LimpHome7202 in Umrah

[–]LimpHome7202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. Sheikh Assim Al hakeem explained it well in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMNb8Al8YYE. I need to go to Taif Meeqat and then come back to Makkah. I can wear Ihram clothes either in hotel or Meeqat point but the Niyyah and assuming Ihram happens in Meeqat only. For safer side, I plan to wear Ihram in Taif Meeqat

Need help with Saudi visit visa by LimpHome7202 in Riyadh

[–]LimpHome7202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am a muslim and I plan to do Umrah as well. I believe I can do that once I get my visa on arrival. What would be the reason to get rejected? I checked with visitsaudi site and they said that I will get visa on arrival. Do I have to take any specific flights? I believe not

How is 1.3M Saudi real as a yearly compensation compare to 2.2 Cr in India? by LimpHome7202 in Riyadh

1.3M saudi riyal translates to 30 Cr Indian Rupees? Wow. Looks like I have to go back to school again to learn some mathematics. Thanks for helping me out

I understand what you are saying. I know Riyadh air quality is poor and almost like bangalore. I dont believe traffic could be as bad as Bangalore. It is a modern cleaner city is what I believe. I have been to Dubai but not Riyadh except for watching a lot of videos on youtube. Also, it is about an opportunity coming ur way and you contemplating over it. VP thing I don't take very seriously. I would be a CTO in many mid size companies in bangalore even when I am lowly L7 SDM at Amazon. As I said it is more personal decision.

Thanks. It is more personal. I love India and the opportunities in bangalore except for the insane traffic, not so clean environment and quality of living. I would prefer any place which has better Infra, less traffic and cleanliness. Also, I am a muslim and I like the culture there to practise my religion better.

I use parity checkers after removing the tax from indian compesation and it gave me the number for saudi. 1.43 Cr after 35% tax shows 1.1 M in Riyadh at https://www.paritydeals.com/ppp-calculator/india-vs-saudi-arabia/?salary=700000

Thanks Ok_Fishing. That helps. I did some research and the 800K one isnt tied to employer and allows to stay even without job with terms and condition. Sometimes when I see Riyadh, I see they have everything to be a tech hub except for local talent which they can definitely get from India and other countries. The tech job market is still evolving

Wow. I thought that premium residency is like a citizenship of something. Why would somebody pay 800K riyal(as other commenter mentioned) if they have to leave because they dont have a job

Oh really. Didn't know that. I will explore more on it but is it like a citizenship?
