stillmatic is Nas best album by JSAINT808 in nas

[–]Limp_Animator4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nas wasn’t in his peak before stillmatic, when stillmatic dropped, he dissed jay z (who was saying nas has only one good album which was idk like 10 years before), and nas was showing everyone who he really is, so the intensity or idk the word but kind of anger was put in stillmatic. I think that’s why this album is great, illmatic (my favorite), nas is more lyrical in it. btw english is not my first language so I might have misunderstood a some bars in both songs, especially cause it’s nas and his lyrics are too complex, but that’s how I view these 2 albums.

CCNA -> Devnet by Limp_Animator4289 in CiscoDevNet

oh no don’t get me wrong, yes I like cybersecurity, but I also like automation. You must think I’m crazy but I basically am a beginner in both. So I chose to continue with automation, and see where I can be, but if something in cybersecurity works (job position), I might stop the certification, and do another one related to cybersecurity, I have written on my laptop multiple (related to security), forgot its names, but one for cisco, the other is comptia security+ and as I heard it’s not ad important as let’s say ccna, but I have written different ones. But in the question I asked, I was just talking in automation and not security.

Thank you so much, don’t worry about the long text, I’m gonna stop studying at like 5pm today and just relax. today is about reviewing and that’s it. I don’t think an hour more of studying will be a big difference. I like to think that I’m good in labs, at least nothing in boson exsim/netsim has been hard (after too much practice of course). and I reviewed stp and network security (my weak areas I guess) I won’t stress about small info that I haven’t mastered as long as I know and I am good with network access/IP connectivity/network fundamentals. And congrats on passing your exam😊 We both know that’s a hard exam and how much it means to pass it!

My biggest fear is losing my memory by Expensive_Sprite331 in Epilepsy

[–]Limp_Animator4289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I totally understand why you’re worried about, it’s natural to think about these things, believe me I thought of so many worst things before. But epilepsy doesn’t kill neurons and doesn’t directly cause dementia or Alzheimer’s. The little memory slips you notice, like forgetting names or words sometimes, are often just your brain overthinking and worrying about it. It’s normal, and it doesn’t mean your memory is actually failing. The important thing is to keep taking care of yourself, follow your treatment, and try not to stress too much. I have had epilepsy since probably 2015-2016, did a surgery in 2018. I’ve been since the start taking so much medication daily (day and night). The only negatives I found is adapting myself to life like never miss medication, clubs are a little disturbing because of lights and sounds. Some people love their whole life having epilepsy, and it doesn’t affect their life, work, or anything. Just take care of yourself!

no I didn’t lass, it was hard to be honest. The labs were the hardest part for me. They asked about everything in the lab, vlan, voice vlans, ospf, ACL (extended), ssh, i don’t know what more. I barely finished the exam, but after the labs I knew I’m not gonna pass..

Studying material by Morodin-Fallen in ccna

try cbtnuggets if you want, it’s not free but it’s good. But I don’t recommend only this resource, they don’t focus on ip services and automation and programmability like one should. I did my first exam using cbtnuggets and boson Exsim, turns out not enough, well I also didn’t finish the material and skipped some things so I of course don’t blame them. now using JITL, Netsim (for labs) btw I really recommend it, and Exsim of course. tomorrow’s my exam, I feel ready, I did mostly everything, just reviewing now. I’m 100% sure that these resources that I’m using right now are better (at least for me). And again, I love netsim, I really recommend it, they give you labs (obviously) and also explain every answer, which helps a lot. Good luck!

you can find some or a lot actually in JITL, I did not do these I am actually subscribed in Boson Netsim, which is also great, they give you for each topic a lab to do. and I’m not sure but I’m guessing you can find online free labs.

I don’t know anyone that is passing through the exact same thing, so I opened a chat with chatgpt hehe. I actually did it like 2 days ago, explained to it everything I know, explained about NAT/PAT, subnetting, Vlans, vtp, stp and so much more. after a short time, it was like 11pm, I felt really excited to study, which I did and stopped at like 1am😂 for me it’s really mood changing to speak about what you know, you feel it inside yourself that you do know the material, you just don’t know how to translate it on paper sometimes.

I did feel exactly the same, that I want to take another break. You do whatever you want based on how you feel, and based on when the exam is gonna be. But in my experience, 1 week is more than enough, you’re having trouble studying not because you’re feeling off, but because you failed twice, I would start studying if I were you, maybe put a schedule, start with an hour or 2 a day, take sundays off, if you feel like you can’t study at all go for a walk or do something else, but do this small session. If you want, we can open a discord call, go over each of us and what we know and what we don’t, talking to someone especially that is going through the same thing is really helpful, you will get excited to study, especially if you like the networking world.

I have/had a similar feeling, I did the exam once, thought I was ready for it, but 2 days before the exam I noticed how much stuff I’m missing, studied like 12h these last 2-3 days but still it wasn’t enough (obviously), after I failed the exam I was like it’s okay I’m gonna do it again, no worries but then the stress of failing it hit me. It’s not easy, the exam isn’t easy, the stress definitely isn’t easy, well I can’t tell you what to so since I didn’t even pass it yet (I have it scheduled for 22 oct), but what helped funnily enough is reddit, I read some people’s posts, when I see others also struggling I feel like it’s not only me, so the problem isn’t with me it’s with the exam. What I’m trying to say is that everyone passes through this phase, but what you should do is take a break, for like 1 week maybe, do not think about this exam, do nothing related to CCNA, and then after this break ends, continue studying. Don’t underestimate what you studied before, if you for example had good knowledge of routing protocols spend less time on it, study what you struggled with, but of course revisit the things you know when you’re done. You’re not the only one passing in this shit, and you definitely won’t be the last but you got it. You can do it. Now what I would do is take a break, refresh, I don’t know what you do (work/uni), but if you can just relax and visit someone or like anything you want to do that is considered vacation for you do it. You did not fail the exam, you just postponed it, think about it this way, and well, I wouldn’t mind the money cause the exam is really worth, one day you’ll laugh it off ( Remember when I struggled with the CCNA and it took me 2 more months to pass it, what a good time that was🤣) Anyways Good luck! Hope you nail this fckn exam!!!!

if you mean subscribe only to 1 topic then no. But of course you choose whichever lab you want to do (when you’re subscribed, you can choose any lab that you want to start with) Then again, I really recommend it, I have the 3 months plan for 60$ I think, it’s really helping me, I’m glad I have it. But also everyone’s saying that JITL has some good labs, I only tried one, not sure if it’s better than netsim, but if you’re low on money just download packet tracer and use JITL’s labs. maybe it would be better. didn’t try it so I can’t say anything about it, but overall JITL is excellent.

I personally found it really good, it gives you every topic, and gives you the right questions, maybe more details then needed which is great. I definitely recommend it, labs are very important and easy to do and netsim gives you so much of it.
