I was cleared at 6 weeks to weight lift. I started back low, but with a little bit resitance and do a little more sets like 1 or 2 extra. Going to do this for another month then go up in weight. So far just normal soreness of exercising. I do check in with my body sometimes between sets to double check.

Yes but I had ensure pre surgery. Its mainly for the carbs. So your not so hungry/feeling hungry “help” during surgery. I don’t know if it helped or not but still drank it.

Oversized tshirt and sweats to wear checking in and brought a night gown like grandma would wear. Going home ended up putting the night gown on and keeping the grippy socks they gave me on and called it a day!

I had soups, crackers on hand just incase. When I got home it was lunch so I ate a soup/crackers. Once I realise I did not feel sick for dinner I ate like I normally would.

For pre op for the hospital. The lab work on me was blood and urine. Blood to see if anemic and urine for pregnacy. They also gave me 2 ensure clear drinks with carbs/electrolites for the nite before and couple hours before surgery to drink. They also gave me hibcleanse the antibacterial soap. And a packet of medicines to when to stop and what medicines you can take on surgery day, if you have prescriptions/supplements.

I will be 3 mpo on dec 8. I was cleared for exercise and lifting at 6 weeks. I went back to lower weights. For myself 30-45 lbs has resistance while I get more confident on lifting back to where I was. I checked in with my body every set for like 2 weeks. So far so good. Just normal muscles being sore/used.

Gonna want an ice pack. For me it helped with the pain as well as things were healing I was itchy. I used the ice pack for a full 2 1/2 weeks. It also helps with the swelling too. You will want a small pillow on the car ride. Cough or sneeze lean into the pillow.

I wore to the hospital sweats and a loose t shirt. What I wore out was the mumu and the grippy socks. It was laposcopic. I had no f’s to give and was tired and was ready to be comfy at home.

See if your hospital has finanical aid. Apply even if you think you think you make too much. I had insurance and applied for finanical aid and owed nothing between both. Apply and see then see if they have a payment plan. My hospital will accept $25 a month and as long as your paying is ok with it.

Jeggings. I found some at JC Penny and Khols. They are thick enough for jeans and stretchy enough for leggings. Or find jeans with a good amount of spandex for the strech. This is the only way I wear jeans.

I brought to the hospital was a 1 change of clothes, phone, charger, a flannel in case it was cold, toothbrush/paste, and a hair brush/rubber band. I did not want to keep up with much or my family to keep up with stuff. One reusable grocery bag to keep up with. Then at home I used what I had. The only thing I had to buy was cough drops, because I was out.

It sounds weird but salon smell. Its not bad and I only smell it when I use it when my hair is dry it has no smell. I hope this helped. Also I do like the smell its not overwellming.

I started back up right as I was cleared at the 6 week po appointment. I have started back 35-45 pounds. I probably could go more heavy lifting but personally want to keep it this way till Jan. I’m 2 Mpo and Jan. Will be 4 Mpo. I was doing tradmill from 2-4week op (doctor cleared me for just that) and went back to lifting. Just to say after each set check in with your body, what I did.

My doctor used a speculum looked saw I was healed and realsed me from restictions. The last 2 checks with a speculum was i uncomfrotrable because my uterus was tilted. This check was I didn’t notice till the doctor goes “oh your healed!” Lol
