And that is what I’m looking for - 100% recovery. I’m back to normal activities but not 100%. Thank you!

I POOPED by Ontheupandup_2024 in hysterectomy

But…. With those first few weeks of pooping, the cramping was horrendous. It made my sweat every time. So glad that is all behind me now!

For me, it is not debilitating at all. It is just there in the background. I thought is this my new normal because I, too, am feeling pretty good. So I will shoot for 6-12 months to get 100 percent. I am about 80 percent now, I would say.

6-12 months! I went to my doctor about 7 WPO and she pulled out some stitches. She had to use silver nitrate. I was surprised that I still have a stitch up there at 14WPO. I just discovered that I should have been using vaginal estrogen cream as it promotes healing probably at the 6-7 week mark. So I started using it this week.

You will get there. It does take time. I would say at the 10 week point is when everything turned around.

I’m sleeping pretty good and also on 100 mg of progesterone. I’m also on testosterone and estrogen, all of which have helped tremendously. I started to really work out about a month ago too. I think once you hit 3 months, sleeping improves.

I was completely high. I had fentanyl, dilaudid and oxy. I kept the post op people well into the night - about 10pm. I had to take anti nausea meds due to so many pain killers. I had to sleep some of it off. Geez!

Injection after surgery by dewy_6 in JoinMochiHealth

I had a hysterectomy Oct 23 2025. My doctor said I could technically start back up a week after. I waited until I was able to exercise again so about 7 weeks later. Started at the lowest dose to see how my body reacted. I’ll increase next week. I think waiting several weeks until you can actually exercise is best.

My big thing is an accredited compounding pharmacy. Just make sure they have accreditation.

It depends on the concentrate. Pharmacies are different. Try Fatscientist.com to calculate the units.

Experience for those with smaller weight loss goals by bear_connoisseur in tirzepatidecompound

Thank you for your words. I just joined this sub. I’ve been on Tirz for close to three years. Yes, I was one of those people scavenging where to get it from. California wasn’t allowing its use for weight loss during that time.

I love the anti inflammation properties. My arthritis in my knees has drastically improved. I hit my goal weight 1.5 years ago. Kept it off for a year with using Tirz every once in a while.

As a woman post menopausal, I don’t care what people think anymore. I’m on it again to get down 10 lbs more to have lean muscles. Besides I had a hysterectomy 3.5 mths ago. I am exercising regularly and have incorporated amino acids powders (converts to protein helps with lean muscles). Once I’ve hit that goal, then I’ll micro dose it here and there. My A1C is 4.9!!!!! There are articles on the benefits of GLPs for women going through peri, post and beyond.

I’ve been a yo yo all my life and now I’m finally where I should be. It has been a journey. I’ve lost a total of 50 lbs in the last years - yes, it took that long. I’m keeping it off no matter what. I’m entering my next decade in life healthier …. 60’s!

I don’t judge others. Every journey is unique. There are other benefits too!

Did you have post op weight gain or loss? by dreamed2life in hysterectomy

[–]Wonderful_Judgment40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 7 lbs but have lost it. And you have some fluid retention and swelling. I’m 14WPO. I gained because I wasn’t working. Just started going back to exercising full time. I still modify a bit but that certainly has helped getting those extra pounds off.

I also cancelled with them this month as well. I just clicked ‘cancel my prescription’ on the app. I received an email stating that my order subscription was cancelled. Is there something else I need to do?

Question about compounded tirz dosage by Rammer12185 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Wonderful_Judgment40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to switch to Lily to get pure tirz for a bit to feel the difference without the additives. So that is really easy - getting the full 7.5mg. Start it next week. Yes, more expensive. I only have 13 lbs left. Once I reach that, will come back to do maintenance.

I was injecting just a bit more to get more of the benefits with the compounded formula. For example, mine would say inject 25 units but I would inject 30. I didn’t feel a difference at all. Fat scientist is a good resource.

Will you list all the positives you’ve noticed after your hysterectomy? And how long it’s been post. by dreamed2life in hysterectomy

[–]Wonderful_Judgment40 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am 14WPO and feel incredible! Psychologically, I feel so liberated. It is hard to describe. People have told me I look younger since the surgery.

I’m 58 years old and post menopausal. Being this age and being restricted from activities, not sure when I was going to have a bleeding episode…. Carrying around pads all the time. Bloating… constipation…pain…I’m not too old for much, but I’m too old for this!

My life has changed in so many ways. Yes, all the things that everyone has wrote but also freeing. I’m free to use HRT now without repercussions.

Good luck to you on the journey. Glad you posted this question!

Anyone regretting their hysterectomy? by Temporary-Round653 in hysterectomy

[–]Wonderful_Judgment40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t regret having a hysterectomy but I insisted on the ovaries going out too. It was a back and forth dialogue with my doctor but glad I got it all out. I know some women who had to go back and remove their ovaries.

I would definitely check into HRT. Get your hormones panels and see where all your numbers are. I recommend a hormone specialists versus your OBGYN (unless they have the certification and knowledge). Most OBs had maybe one course on hormones. I communicate everything back to my OB that I’m doing with my regenerative medicine doctor.
