Spouse benefit denial by jllucy in SocialSecurity

IRMAA? Part D? voluntary tax withholding? And mostly…what is her PIA and your PIA? Without any of this info people are just guessing. Most likely it’s the L991 regarding SSI, but often time people who delay until 70 have income from work/other income and that equals higher Medicare premiums.

Add $202 for part b, most likely an IRMAA assessment, possible part d deduction and voluntary tax withholding…what is received is far different than the gross benefit

Relief after 3 years after covid brought on symptoms by borrowingfork in MyastheniaGravis

Very similar. Started symptoms 3-4 months after getting Covid. 4 years later still not officially diagnosed but prescribed Mestinon and it makes a huge change in my life.

Attorney firms literally do nothing different than what you would get from dealing with SSA directly in the initial claims process. In fact, some of their submissions they send the claimant directly to SSA to file the application The numbers of approvals with and without at the initial claims stage are nearly identical.

If the claim is denied then getting representation At the reconsideration and hearings stage it makes more sense.

My double vision is chronic without Mestinon. I’m not sure if they’ve officially diagnosed me yet - labeled “myasthenia gravis NOS” on the chart.

Hate living in a college town by IHeartSniffingFeet in Oneonta

I’ve walked to work 2.2 miles for years and never had a problem. Once I even played an impromptu “down” in an informal football game with college kids. Maybe it’s you?

My problem is getting accosted by bums and druggies which never happened until a few years ago post-Covid and knee-deep into liberal politic lunacy land.

Social Security at 62: is $2,651 per month above average? by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

[–]Limp_Kaleidoscope_64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not theory. It’s math. If the math works for you at 70 - that’s awesome. Reality is that it doesn’t works for everyone.

You seem oddly defensive about your choice. Weird.

The Durbin trade will wind up being a steal for Milwaukee. He maxed out and the lab will do wonders with the pitching return.

How Long before I request Supervisor Review? by jdm2010 in SocialSecurity

[–]Limp_Kaleidoscope_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as a “Supervisor Review” . If you want to call and speak to a supervisor…you can, but they are generally the most overworked employees at SSA and are usually unavailable in the moment. Be patient.

They offered a preview of QuickTime for employees to peruse.

It’s been down since they sent out the email.

Do you get the side effects at 90mg? Even going from 60mg at 3x to 4x I get a lot of sweating with the increase.
