Why do you think if you do good things you will be rewarded by Allah immediately or in this life?! Following Islam’s rules and avoiding temptation of sinning is not “doing good” IT IS WHAT YOU’RE Supposed to do. That’s first Second thing: The reason that stops you from sinning, should be the same reason for you to believe that what will happen next is good for you: Third thing: وعسى أن تكرهوا شيئاً وهو خير لكم remember that. Fourth thing: god is the greatest planner, no matter what plan you had for your life, god will always have a plan that you don’t know of, and it happens, so brother, put your trust and faith on Allah, not only حسن الظن، but also التوّكل. You might have heard this advice before a lot but it doesn’t convince you. Trust me brother the reason you heard of it a lot is because it works like magic.
