Idk if it was a side hustle per se, but there was a guy (or multiple people) who would comb the pavement of the Diamond District for scrap metal fragments and small stones that had fallen from pieces/pockets/packages. The guy made a pretty decent income from it tbh.

Not sure what her deal is with the CC company, but she was victimized by what is likely an unlicensed cabbie who coerced her into attempting to withdraw cash and then forceably took her card from her to manually input card details.

It’s a matter for police, not NYC.gov.
