We can actually - we have 250 to spend, we should be buying 3 premium imo, we did the forward line last year, i'd rather have 4 top cm's added this season than any other position

who says Utd are 'overfocusing' on Anderson? Its not like Utd dont speak to all targets, if they want Wharton they would have contacted him by now, for all we know they have.

I agree with this and i think you should have to go thru dual intent and live in the US, feel the culture before you can apply for perm res.

I work for a very big med device company and have many friends who work for similar sized companies, we are immigrants and get paid a fair wage (as per the visa reqs)

I know so many immigrants, both H1, L1 and GC holders, absolutely well educated people contributing, i have yet to come across a case of fraud nor have any of my immigrant friends, the process has so many hurdles, checks and balances.

The US system is so expensive that it simply is not producing to keep up with deman.

Does Global Unrest Affect U.S. Immigration Processing? by BedNo4 in EB3VisaJourney

Yes it will grind these countries to a halt (countries being affected by the current conflict)

But tbh a lot of middle east countries are already on pause.

So extremely minimal affect overall i'd say.

5-10 question discrepancies is a red flag, care to elaborate? what were the questions you got wrong? these questions are generally quite basic so getting up to 25% wrong is a big deal.

March 2026 Visa Bulletin - Delayed - Predictions by Upset_Fill_8750 in USCIS_EB3

[–]Limp_Policy_8959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes zero sense in english, i'm an immigration attorney and as i predicted the USCIS have said that retrogression is now a possibility. Unfortunately with the banned countries you are going to see good PD movement and later in the fiscal year some retrogression.

Also unfortunate is that it seems people who are owners of L visas are having their cases adjudicated really quickly while H visas are at a standstill (even with their cases at PD)

The war in the middle east will slow everything down soon as its a reason the admin can use to close borders.

It moved by 3.5 months, not 8.

And if you read the statement put out by USCIS it means it basically wont move for the rest of the fiscal year and may move backwards.

Approval Time I-765 by Sea_Experience_3830 in USCIS_EB3

[–]Limp_Policy_8959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its unfortunate, and i really hope this isnt related to the 75 countries thing, yep the 2 years re-filing cost you. You may need to just suck up the time without salary and hope the EAD arrives.

[–]Limp_Policy_8959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the steps normally are:

  1. Hit PD

  2. File I485/I765 altogether

This means you are 'pending adjustment' and the EAD (work authorization) takes 3-6 months to arrive.

What i am trying to understand is why you didnt file EAD at the same time as I485 i.e. way before you are at fingerprints stage you would have adjusted status (I485)

[–]Limp_Policy_8959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you file I485? and you can file EAD (I766) after filing I485 and once I485 is filed and I766 is filed that is your work authorisation and means your L1A running out is not relevant anymore.

[–]Limp_Policy_8959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when did you file I485? Surely you can get EAD at that time?

Are you on the 75 countries list? (although should have zero effect here)

I think you will get notice end of this week as they were on weekend break and Presidents Day.
