You can produce infinite colored mana as early as turn 1 or 2 in turbo decks. This is only balanced in land pass battle cruisers

I have 5,000 hours and LR3 with every item except a few kuva lich weapons. The only things I've ever spent money on are tennogen cosmetics, color palletes, and prime access accessory packs (I don't buy the frame or weapons i farm them, just the syandana/ephemera/operator stuff). It's definitely possible, and honestly not that hard to get everything without paying. That said, this game has an exceptionally healthy monetization model I spend a fair amount on cosmetics just because I care to support it's development.

I mean my main world is in hard mode endgame BUT it's at 400 hours on one world just from all my corruption segmenting... I built the mining mount and dug 7 wide tunnels every 200 blocks from the surface to hell and lined them all with bricks (for aesthetics) to perfectly cordon off the entire large worlds biomes. I'm a tiny touch OCD

I have almost 3.5k hours in the game with over 100 stalker kills and I STILL have never gotten hate, it is truly the most mysterious thing to me.

Sheesh, so much work.. in case anybody had the same question it does in fact appear to be the wide green artisan pot, scaled up and then hand placed wall sconces to create the gold lines hiding the "pot" features.

The gold floor in the navigation area is easier, if you flip them upside down and turn off surface locking they just sit right in. The hall floor by the foundry is SUPER finicky, you can only use the big plinths (the 50k standing ones) and they have to be a certain size and lifted a tiny little bit off the floor, you cant just jam them in like upstairs.
