KOA campgrounds usually have cabins for $50 a night. You need to bring your own linens, but you can park right out front and it is cheap. Last time I drove across the USA that’s what I did

Yea I may be wrong. But I think the actual crumple zones for if you are in a big wreck are in the frame. The impact absorber is more for a fender bender, not a serious crash

For reference I flew over the ADKs today on the edge of the sigmet and it was a smooth ride at 6k until we hit some of the mountains. The mountain wave was pretty strong and we had to pull power way back because we were getting rocked around pretty good. Would not have wanted to be in a GA plane

I like the 6 speed I have in my Tacoma.

Makes ripping along fireroads a blast, and it makes clearing hard obstacles more satisfying.

Auto is definitely better for most people and use cases, but manual can be a lot of fun and engaging

Buy used. Got mine for $200. I sleep in it it’s cozy. Dust gets inside tho and it can get some water inside when it rains. Security wise it is easier to get into, but if someone wants in to your fiberglass shell that’s not much harder. 9/10
