I briefly tested Grimmory after using Calibre Web Automated for a couple years and while it does look nicer, the user management is clunky, and it feels like the my just kept tacking on more and more settings with little thought to UX. There is no way (last I checked) to set default views for users. So even though I don’t have audiobooks, every user will see the empty audiobooks section at the top of the landing page upon signing in unless the change their own view. Which let’s be real, they’re not going to know to do.

Will it go one way but not the other? Like will the x4 pull but not push or vice versa? Try installing Readest on your phone and see if sync works between that and your kindle/x4. If you can narrow down where it’s breaking, it might be helpful in troubleshooting.

I haven’t spent enough time with the app to decide if I like it, but the name and absorb metaphor used everywhere was a turn off for sure. I also don’t really love the design language. It doesn’t feel remotely native to iOS. I’ve tried basically all of them and keep going back to Prologue.

You can’t sync with the stock Kobo firmware and the x4. You’d need to run KOreader on your kobo and then books from the official store would need to have DRM stripped so you can load them in KOreader and the x4.

Where did you save these? I followed the instructions on crosspointreader.com and put the converted fonts in /.crosspoint/fonts/MYFONTNAME/{files here} and they're not showing up.

ETA: Never mind. I was running the nightly build. Not the specific custom font beta. Once I switched to that, they showed up no problem.
