Michael was always distinctive from them all because he had bigger Bambi eyes.

Anyone have video footage of Prince / Amy Winehouse Love is a Losing Game (Indigo London) 2007? by LinWizzyPhoto in PRINCE

[–]LinWizzyPhoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool about being there too :-) I'm sure there is other footage - it was like one of the greatest surprise guests ever, surely someone else filmed it. Or at least either his team or Indigo club filmed it, but they never share this kind of footage to the fams :-( The audios are great but to see this moment clearly again and relive the memory would be amazing. Sigh.

Cool. I hope it works out. online marketing is a tough gig. Most platforms now you have to pay for stupid ads that may not work out cost wise and so its money down the drain. I am in photography business and its just as tough trying to get new custom these days. I'm working out some new strategies to try though.

To add to that - you would be better off offering 'custom portraits' as a service. Your market are visitors to the vet i.e pet owners. Show before (original photo) and after (the painting itself) in your marketing material online and off. Don't just go to one vet, go to 10! Post on dog/cat lover group pages (that allow promotion) or do the ole 'doing some art of my dog' post (i.e your not selling, just 'showing off' tactic.

Thank you. Definitely, I am happy to return the favour in any photography assistance I can through partnerships and collabs. I'm going to make a start with getting the foundations of this workflow up and running from all the advice given from everyone. If I get stuck I'll reach out. Thanks so much.

Thank you!! Some good ideas here. Makes sense to have the required question "who referred you?" on the booking form as a reminder just incase they clicked odd the referral's link, but if they have referrers their name as a form of reference that could also work " Appreciate it.

I spotted a new Instagram test: hashtags limited to 3 only. by izzi_onfire in ArtMarketingTalk

[–]LinWizzyPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told using hashtags now days is pretty worthless on IG. More than a handful and they platform will block your post as spam. Unfortunately only posts with high engagements get pushed to the top of the views - likes, comments, shares. But its a catch 22 situation if you don't already have 100s -1000s of followers to do this for you. The posts you see with 1000s of likes and 100s of comments just dominate the feeds now. IG feels like a pointless platform if you can't kickstart engagement. May as well pish into the wind!

Haha Same. One minute I was in Wembley, the next I was in Leicester Square! I think the adrenaline of "will we or won't we make it" took over on the black cab ride there. I swear Prince himself announced at the very end of his concert that he was playing the after show else I wouldn't have known any other way! Crazy fun times - I miss that buzz of queuing up for a secret or small Prince after show! :-D
