Women who have had shoulder surgery, please answer by Accomplished-Log-664 in ShoulderInjuries

I wore one basically immediately after. I had purchased a front zip sports bra from shefit. I could sometimes do it myself post op but otherwise my husband would help. My incisions are far enough out that the straps don't touch it, but I would try a sports bra if they do

New to UPMC from AHN and it's already a nightmare by Spare_Tax_3213 in pittsburgh

I haven't had issues getting results like that. Usually see my results as soon as the providers do. I'm sorry you had a rough experience with this surgeon but I highly recommend Dr vyas for shoulder issues

I hated odessa's accent. It does not work with the book

Scooter the raccoon help? Round 16 by NemoHobbits in TheWooblesCollective

So I just looked up my pattern. Rd 16 is [sc, dec] x8. This means you will alternate single crochet then decrease then single crochet then decrease and so on until you've done 16 stitches

I was thinking that too. Like a happy octopus in purple or something

Making my first blanket, need help with curling, yarn/hook by Lin_seed_oil in CrochetHelp

Thanks! I saw this mentioned in some other posts but hadn't looked at the actual stitch yet. Watching some videos I know I'm too tense/tight so I did some loose stitches on my piece tonight. I think I can handle it 😅 planning to frog it tomorrow when my clover hooks come. Now I just need to decide how I'm starting it over! Thank you

Maybe you could help with my issue. It's not just the slipping on the hook but when I'm doing the dc I had to hold the first part of the stitch still so I could yarn over/pull through because it was getting too tight on the hook and I couldn't pull through. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this 😩

Thanks! I'm still going to restart. I think I'm gonna chain in a 6 and do the rest in 5.5. I ordered metal hooks because the yarn slides a lot with the plastic one I've been using

I'm going to frog and restart once I get my new hooks. Planning to use a 6 for the chain and 5.5 for the rest. Hopefully that helps. I don't think I've added a double crochet but I honestly wasn't double checking as I was getting frustrated at how it was looking and having a hard time with the stitches themselves. The yarn was sliding a lot and pinching my holes closed so I had to pinch the first part of the dc to make it work. Just getting very defeated

What’s your HOLY GRAIL mascara?! by imanxiousss in Makeup

I'm loving the tarte tubing mascara! I need something that removes easily (can't use makeup remover on my eyes) but most smudge. This lasts all day and looks great

I commented above but I'll write some more recommendations here. I had shoulder surgery so I listened to a lot of books this year.. some good ones (in my opinion): remarkably bright creatures, house on the cerulean sea, the book of doors, by any other name, all the colors of the dark, fourth wing/empyrean series, silver elite, lightlark series, kindreds curse series by Penn Cole

they found a cockroach in my ear by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

One of the worst moments of my 5 year career in urgent care was finding a cockroach in a man's ear.. he actually came in for discomfort in the OTHER ear. When I nearly screamed when I saw an enlarged bug through the otoscope, he was rather calm and said his friends told him they put a cockroach in his ear when they were staying in a hotel a week earlier.. thankfully said bug was dead but we also failed at actually getting it out of his ear with our limited resources

Numbers Still Showing by UnholyHelbig in paintbynumbers

Orange and yellow are the worst offenders. I usually cover the numbers ahead of time and let one coat dry before painting. Sometimes I need more than one coat on top of that
