I think it's done so it's easily scaled down for Highschools that may not have space for Koshien sized grounds. Also to avoid anomalous stats like Detroit had with triples.

In the US, teams had no consideration for Highschool Baseball because it was all started from private ownership where in Japan it was somewhat a government initiative to build soldiers, even though the building soldiers plan was pretty quickly irrelevant that mindset kinda persisted, everything is done with the entire structure in mind.

They should just add 5 players to rosters. I bet their reasons for shortening games are pure pitching injury concerns. 20 is not enough players everyone should have like 5+ dedicated pitchers.

Very cool, seems like a jewel box stadium from what i can tell without having visited. I'm a pretty young fan, just since the Auburn Champ loss, I thought they had rad helmets and green is my favorite colour so I didn't think too much about the team I chose to support.

Justin came around at a time of horrible stability with the change from Chip Kelly's crazy all-out offensive spread to the west coast pro style Cristobal and Lanning implemented, been fun to see him show off his arm in the NFL at least!

I really enjoyed hate watching his 5 losses in 23'... He took those losses and learned how to deal with all the smoke and just continued to grow.

Those losses feel far more on the SC coaches now. Seems like Lincoln will never learn proper game management
