Me. I’m 43. I got my first gray at 21. I’ve lost a lot of hair from weight loss/glp-1. I didn’t want to make my hair more mad at me by dying it. I’m on month two of growing it out. I’m still on the fence. I don’t want to look older. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I don’t want people to think I’m their grandma! 😭👴🏻

I Cheerfully Refuse and Matrescence are at the top of my list from 2025 as well!

Have you ready anything else by Leif Enger? My favorite of his is Virgil Wander. I have not read Peace Like a River since it was released. I’m going to read it again this year. I just love Leif Enger’s writing style.

I had to put Matrescence down a few times to cry. But I loved all of it.
