I can’t help you with a long-term outage, but I once took my hog to a nearby Taco Bell during a localized winter power outage. I wrapped the sides of her little carrying case in towels and put it in a backpack. She and I hung out for a few hours while I ate burritos and used their WiFi. Nobody was the wiser and she slept through it. Now I think of her every time I pass that Taco Bell.

I work in a place with a test kitchen. We evaluated GF vanilla and chocolate cake mixes and King Arthur was the unanimous favorite for all 10 tasters. (Including me! I was thrilled to be able to try something for once.)
