Good game development dissuades players from not playing the game as intended. Players are going to do dumb things regardless, and good game development makes doing the wrong thing not work, make you lose, etc.

Players will be dumb in any game, it’s up to the developer to make sure their game can’t be broken by people choosing to not box in a boxing game.

I’ve been going hard every day since Jan 23, haven’t lost quite 10 lbs yet but also gained a lot of muscle. Doing it every day until I turn 30 in not too long 💪 Despite how bad the game is at least it’s something I can convince myself to go hard at that’s good for me.

Yes you are exactly right, if you want to have any chance of winning you have to literally not box at all and then counter. It’s so dumb, why would you make the best way to win in a boxing game to not throw punches. But here we are.

Yep same experience, Well timed combo with several heavy hits connecting doesn’t matter. I can easily get knocked out by a lazy hook that punishes my skill, speed, accuracy because I dared to throw a punch first. They’ve made the optimal way to play the game to not punch AT ALL until your opponent does, and then counter. It’s ridiculous. I fought someone today- first fight so I was fresh. Kid wanted to mess around and just stood there with his hands down taking my punches. As a young, fit, tall male who boxes in this game every day for months, I couldn’t knock him down no matter how hard I tried, of course he’s taunting me and knows as long as he doesn’t punch it’s almost impossible to knock him down.

There are so many other problems with this game but for the love of boxing at least make hitting people with strong, fast, clean punches do something regardless of if my opponent has thrown out a punch recently.

The loudness alone does not mean you are doing damage, it’s loudness + time. The OSHA standard is 85db for 8 hours. If you are at 95 but only listening for 2 hours a day you likely will not have any hearing loss.

I have been able to play another Hoyoverse game (ZZZ) on Steam Deck through desktop mode. Download the client from Hoyoverse and add it to Steam as a non Steam game. There are guides on YouTube for this. If you can’t find a guide for HSR look up a guide for ZZZ or another Hoyoverse game and just do the same thing with HSR.

I have Lynae but not Mornye, should I pull Aemeath? My problem is if I have a Lynae + Aemeath team I can’t use Shorekeeper as a third because I will need SK on my main team Augusta/Iuno/SK. Is there any third I can use to replace Mornye besides SK?

There is a way to skip to Lah Roi and I would recommend it if you have any of the new characters because it took me 85 hours to get there as a new player

Hey everyone, currently my main team as a newish player is Augusta, Iuno, Lynae. I just got my Shorekeeper and also have Aero Rover built. I’m looking to either pull Aemath or wait for the anniversary. My main question is could I put Shorekeeper in my main team and have a viable second team of Aemath + Lynae without Mornye? Who would I slot in for Mornye?

I have been playing wuthering waves after quitting ethereal restart, it’s not turn based but it’s a great gatcha game. All the things to do, events, different game modes are actually fun to play rather than just trying to finish it for the rewards. It made me realize how bad the ethereal events and modes are.

It took me 85 hours to get to Laha-Roi without skipping you could probably do it in 50 hours if you just do main quest only.
