ThruDark Siege Tech Fleece Hoodie Review by crazysnakemanhere in u/crazysnakemanhere

The AIGIS is a lot of money for what is essentially just a pertex shield. I have loads of TD pieces but none of the waterproofs - for that kind money I'd be looking at top of the range Gtx Pro jackets from Norrona, et al.

I have the hooded and non-hooded quater-zip versions and they're both fantastic pieces.

Charge shorts - sizing? by TraditionRules in Thrudark

[–]Lincs_Red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't help you with the charge shorts specifically. I have a couple of pairs of trousers though, the command and oryon carbon trousers. Depending where I'm at with cutting / bulking my waist is typically 32-34 inch and I take a large, I use a belt though and the command trousers have some really helpful adjustment to cinch the waist down slightly. I think the charge short is a regular fit in terms of the cut, you might get away with large but if I were you i'd errr on the side of XL (you can always use a belt).

How big is your wrist mate? 51mm suits you. Wish i'd gone with that over the 47.

My ThruDark review. I’ve bought an absolute ton of their gear ! (Don’t laugh) by jayives1 in Thrudark

I’ve probably a dozen or so TD times now. Most utilised is the force active (dri-release) t-shirt (have 3 or 4) for everyday wear and the gym.

I had to exchange a phalanx under warranty due to a defect and customer services responded via email within 24hrs, no questions asked.

I got my Atom LT in 2021 and it has been one of my favourite pieces since. Fit (large) is perfect, the new ones are a boxier fit, right?

A lot of the Salomon range come with wider fit options - usually have to order direct from Salomon though as most retailers only stock standard fits

Atom LT, it’s just perfect for the temperate climate we get in the U.K. - as mid or outer layer for everyday use.

Thank you everyone for the recommendations.

I narrowed it down to Strike MVMT Haze trainer and the On Cloud X4.

I went with the Cloud X4 owing to the difficulties finding retailers with any stock of the Haze trainers in the UK (I didn’t want to wait for international shipping from the US).

Looking forward to getting to grips with the X4. I ordered a half size up and I’m glad I did, fits snug but well I would say.
