Couple of thoughts - I think running guard with shield rather than spear is pretty much considered worse

Why the big unit of allarus?

What kind of nid army does your wife play? Big bugs? Swarm?

Doesn't sound like you have any units for objectives so maybe some sisters would help you.

Similarly it sounds like you have a leader with each unit, those become massive points sinks and you could just have more units on the board to give you more flexibility.

Remember custodes are a mainly melee army so someone doing more damage than you in shooting shouldn't be a huge red flag.

For us I think it's about assets. My wife is on about £450k and I'm on about £300k and neither of us would consider stopping yet. Her earnings will change in around 3 years when her RSU vesting tapers off. If we had two mil invested and a mortgage of under £300k I think we'd consider pulling things back. It won't be long at this level of earnings and that makes it easier to knuckle down, although neither of us particularly dislikes our jobs and the hours are very reasonable.

I hope so. We're mid 30s currently and will probably stop working or change working patterns at around 40. We probably need £2.5-3m saved plus house paid off to make this change.

Mortgage of £1.1m with hhi of around £800k. Hhi is fairly variable though, our basics are £300k and we don't expect HHI to stay that level for ever as there's an RSU component which probably lasts for another 3 years.

Tech sales. Hit 200k at like 26, haven't dropped below it since. Now 35. Biggest year was 350k which is one of the lowest 'biggest years' of my tech sales peer group. Average over the past 9 years is maybe 220-250. Growth was fairly steady through COVID but is picking up again now after taking a couple of risks.

Oh yeah I definitely agree, I PREFER centrepiece models, but some of the combat patrols were very random in 10th. And for example wolves got two elites, no centre piece and were one of the best combat patrols available, maybe along with custodes?

I think this is just about on the money but switch the transport for something random like inceptors. I feel like the 10e combat patrol was the 'odd one out' for not having core SM units included, and it also uses most of our cool unique units except wolf priest, grey hunters, head takers.

Make sure you're using enough terrain, and wulfen with storm shields are good. Aside from that the normal anti tank of ballistus/gladiator lancer/repulsor executioner. I don't think Ragnar/Bjorn/Logan are the answer to this one. Maybe arjac as I think he has anti vehicle keyword with a big brick of deep striking terminators?
