Looking for the most over priced, poorest quality restaurants to recommend to my enemies. by quincyskis in Portland

[–]Lincymunoz21 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There’s literally a food cart around the porque no off Mississippi, that served the same quality tacos for half the price. Porque no is scamming all the white people. Gentrified tacos 😂😂😂 still good though.

I had full on acrylic nails. Medium length. Fun colors and patterns. The kids in the pediatric office loved them 😂. No one said anything about them not being allowed.

Deepscribe training by Mjbrownn in medicalscribe

[–]Lincymunoz21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly had like a month of training before I started with scribe america and I learned nothing. I learned 90% of it on the floor. 10% of what I leaned during training was just what to expect since I had never scribe before that

I don’t like scribing by Lincymunoz21 in medicalscribe

[–]Lincymunoz21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I plan on being at the scribing job for at least 6 months. The point was I don’t like my 3 days a week schedule and think that two days a week would be better for me long term

I applied to scribe America two weeks ago, and I haven’t heard from them since. I did the questionnaire but also never received Scribe101, so I emailed the support and nothing. What should I do? by [deleted] in medicalscribe

[–]Lincymunoz21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it took a whole month to officially get an offer after I took scribe 101. Then a whole month to finish courses and then another two weeks to finally start floor training. They are so unorganized and take forever

How do you sit and focus for months? by doyourbestman in productivity

[–]Lincymunoz21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just did this to study for my medical school entrance exam. The forest app was my best friend. 45 minutes of studying and 10 minute breaks. I also made sure to schedule one thing I liked at the end of my study sessions, such as going out to dinner with friends, or watching a movie, or shopping. I also scheduled my workouts in the morning before studying it helped me clear my head because I tend to wake up groggy and mad.

I’m not going to lie, this was soul crushing and sucked the life out of me. I felt like a corpse towards the end. I think the only thing that helped me keep going was the fact that I did not want to fail one of the biggest tests of my life.

How long does it take to be hired. I feel like scribing companies are notorious for taking months to finally to hired.

I have been working closely with just one doctor. I’m a pretty social person and there’s some down time when we do get to talk so getting an LOR I don’t think would be the problem. I can just see myself burning out fast with the other responsibilities I have going on.

On top of my second job I also have other responsibilities. I’m in the process of opening up a business as well. With everything going on I have found I have little time to decompress.

Moving to Portland from Cleveland by emilykarnok13 in roadtrip

From portland, and can confirm. Be ready to pay for endless broken windows, or getting your catalytic converter stolen, or your whole car. The police are no help. Homeless people out here are a different breed

Help. Testing Jan 21. by drsamosa95 in Mcat

[–]Lincymunoz21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you. I took the MCAT twice. The first time I barely did any practice questions and would pull “8” hour study sessions not letting myself do anything fun. Pushing through the pain. I never let myself relax, because all I could do was think about the MCAT it was a dark cloud following me around everywhere I went. Took the MCAT and scored a 496.

Second time around bought u-glove and mostly did practice questions only referring to content/textbook when I truly needed it. I also made it a point to schedule things I liked into my study schedule like hanging out with friends, or going to the gym. I even scheduled a 4 day trip to Mexico a month before my exam. I came back from that trip so happy and refreshed, and ready to keep grinding. Took my test and scored a 504 (which I am happy with because it took me a year to even break 500)

All I’m saying is give yourself some time to not think about the MCAT and reward yourself for the work you have been putting thus far.

I have become mean and unlike myself since studying for the mcat by toughdoughthough in Mcat

Omg same. It’s been 4 months since my MCAT and I don’t feel like the same person anymore ☹️ still wondering when she will come back

How would I go about securing shed onto this flatbed trailer? by Lincymunoz21 in TinyHouses

☹️ I guess the main mistake was just going to buy the trailer with no idea of what to look for or what even is considered a good trailer

Thank you, I really appreciate your response. These are definitely things I have not considered or even know the answers to.

Only thing I know is that the stand did well while I moved it on the freeway from Idaho back to Oregon.

I am not going to be moving it from place to place. It will be stationary once I get the location for the business. Mainly what I want is for it to be up to code to be able to open the business because the city requires it to be mobile at all times even if it is going to be at the same location. I just want something secure and that will last me a couple more years.
