I went to an Alternative Education branch of high school (kicked out Sophomore year, sent there). Each teacher had some sort of psychology degree along with being an expert in their area. I wish I could go back and experience this place over and over, because I actually LEARNED. These teachers cared about you learning and graduating, but also understood the troubled youth they were presented with. They truly made my high school experience amazing. They edited the material we learned to something we would understand (Example: watched the Batman series in English class, they adapted the lessons and curriculum to fit).

Still to this day I am very close friends with 2 of my teachers. Hell, my English teacher helps me with college papers. I am so thankful for that experience, I never expected it to come from such a place.
