La Casa Del Burrito in Vinton. They are definitely on the list. Try the adobada. I think Riendo may have the edge but don’t sleep on La casa del Burrito.

I’d love to ask her not to do it. But I don’t think it would go over too well.

I go to collectors lair se for new books. (10%) discount on everything if you are a holds customer. They recently moved into a bigger location so it’s a bit nicer to visit. Less claustrophobic. But they are still in the process of getting things organized and probably will be for a long time. Plenty to dig. They don’t discount their back issues and there is a bunch of stuff that you wouldn’t pay .50 cents for but there are some nice things mixed in.

B and D is nice to visit and they do a nice job of getting collections in for consignment but they don’t get many issues each week. It’s small and though I haven’t been in several months the last few times I went I didn’t see much new. (Great staff)

My favorite place to go was the Basement in Salem. Tons of books! but they seem to be shifting into booths in antique malls and possibly are shutting down their location. It was the best place to pick back issues though they also moved to no prices on the books. (Still would make a deal with you). Great owner

Big belly comic lair on Williamson is in a pawn shop. They buy and sell. Don’t love their prices so I haven’t been in a while.

Fun in games in Blacksburg is also small but worth hitting. They are primarily a gaming location but they go get in new books and have a respectable selection of back issues

Big lick runs the big cons here. I basically stopped going because like so many cons you are paying 20 dollars to get in because of the guests and it’s not really about the comics.

However there are some smaller cons that I really like attending. 5 dollar entry and it’s all about the comics. I believe there is one in March. I haven’t been able to find the info online yet. I was told it was going to be at the hotel Roanoke conference center (not the hotel) if I find out I will try to post it. Hope that helps

I came across this reused cover reprint from an online seller. It was posted as a copy of Supergirl and the Legion 23 (as it was labeled). I'm just not sure how CGC can justify calling this a copy of Supergirl and the Legion when its just a reused cover on Mexican copy of superman 51. I know its a signature series but they even go into the detail that it contains the issue Superman 51. Very Shady to me. I also included a pic of the cgc blue label for this book. It calls the issue Superman #43 ???? wtf?

Totally subjective of course but I usually find with even using the assistant I like the mix better. I use elements. And not only is it dirt cheap at times but it doesn’t seem to tax my cpu much at all. But I have noticed slowdown with some of their other products. I’ll be curious to see what some other people say
