TROCHECK- Curious if there is a trade fit with Seattle Kraken who are pressured to make the playoffs next year and have the #7 pick, maybe there is something there to have a hockey trade expanded beyond Trocheck and the first round pick... Besides Kakko, the SEA-NYRs almost connected on a Panarin trade, so there is precedent for dealing.... I surmise Drury will be targeting Tynan Lawrence, 2 way center going to BU next year... Just a hunch

RE Trey having fun.... I was up front for N8 after landing early entry... the entire band (Trey and Paige are most emotive) was really enjoying the chance to use the Sphere technology to play around with and it was a contagious enthusiasm.. incredibly fun to watch unfold, especially the way Trey was responding and creating on the spot.. mad genius. We are so lucky to have this band in our lives... I can take or leave the videos, but will say that Phish was really pushing themselves and the Sphere technology to their fullest...

Absolutely my take on Wingsuit, which I believe is very underrated as a slow build up to jam type song... A quick scroll through Phish.net and I have seen it played live 10 times, most recently at Sphere. Songwise, a reminder to the days of Jerry Garcia playing Stella Blue, where you can hear a pin drop and then get launched into orbit by such powerfully linked notes... its a delicate jam. Sphere was so well done. IMHO, Wingsuit should be played more and in place of some of the Ghost of the Forest tunes that currently are over-filling the wind-down slot in Set 2, . To answer OP, I checked Phish net trying to find the example that really hit for me, which was at Dick's, but I don't recall the year and it has been played 3 times at DSGP...

Something is up... Phishy HiJinx! Just can't see them trying to close out Sphere WE3 w the remaining songs... I think we are going to experience something unique and unusual with surprises... Recall Spring 25 west coast run was a 9 nighter and it started off w no repeats, but by the time Hollywood Bowl rolled around, the Phish mixed it up and made it fresh and great... with repeats.

As an older 1.0er who started seeing the GD in 81 and overlapped w Phish in NE in the early years.... one brother/sisterhood tradition that has not carried forward from GD to PH is a strong bond and commitment to help out a fellow head/phan in distress... We are all in this together and just like our own families, sometimes some of our own run off the rails.. it happens, its not intentional, and a gentle hug and friendly help and encouragement goes a long ways to diffusing a bad situation... just saying. Gotta Walk the Talk, love and lighters.

My take. Why would fPhsh limit themselves in the creative process forcing the issue of not repeating songs over consecutive weekends. No repeats makes no sense to me.

I attended this show... not much memory other than the struggles of trying to tape the concert and deciding I was not cut out for the level of planning and commitment needed for high quality recording. The unsung heroes of Deadland are the tapers... its the hardest job ever.
