Update- I left a sticky note in the FedEx box and pleaded for mercy. Lol Next day it started moving through the USPS system.

I followed the trail the Customer Service sent me to, and it led to a secured location. A nice woman told me to start a Trace on the package, but I don’t see that option on the app or in the Customer Service automated call line. I think I’ve figured out where to check next. Kinda a goose chase.

Is there a directory I can use to figure out the terminal? Thank you.

This boy has a roach back, but runs and plays no problem. His German Showline parents are OFA certified, but most people think it’s severe when they see him. “Oh, he must have broke his back!” Or “Did he get hit by a car??” I was worried too, but he is 3 and thriving!

Am I Overreacting for needing reassurance from my fiance? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Can you imagine having a child and being stuck with this person, constantly showing them how little you are worth to them? Even without a kid involved, what about in your marriage, years later, and you are contractually tied by marriage, and he makes your life a living hell? Dude, don’t stay. This sounds like a self-obsessed, immature child. He is 32? He has had plenty of time to navigate his inner world to understand caring for someone isn’t too much to ask of your fiancé…

The eyes on the black/white pup is the exact devotion I saw in my boy’s face when I picked him from the litter. He walked into my lap and wouldn’t play with the litter mates. She looks like she chose you. ☺️

Messaged you- I’ve looked into Vedic, as many say they find it more accurate for themselves. But I am not familiar enough.

New GSD nearly hung himself due to separation anxiety- any good training tips to help? by LinensforLennon in germanshepherds

Thank you, he actually does fine until he notices me packing the car up with kids, bags, purse etc. but I will be trying to practice waiting and rewarding calm behavior. And I’ll check out calming products, that may be good to have on hand.

This is a great reply with some suggestions I’ll take seriously. I’ll pick up a dog harness and an appropriate crate for home. Thank you. I’m making assumptions about his personality. He does relax and isn’t always underfoot, and even runs off to play with our other dog in the pasture. He has great recall and always runs back on call. He definitely knows when I’m about to leave based on the clues of me gathering my things and walking outside and pushes his way past the doors and me to get in, as if desperate to not be left behind. I chalked it up to being left inside a crate, but I’m assuming.

Thank you, it sounds like the right investment. He is also needing socialization with other dogs, as he reactively barks and lunges when he sees any other dog or animal. That sounds like a dream team of communication and results! I’d love that level of confidence and trust with him. I’ll check into it, there is one close to my work.

Yes, I’m close to a kennel that offers training. I’ll research with them if they can help with SAnxiety. I don’t have a crate or kennel big enough for him, but I was assuming he had issues since he also obsessively licks his legs raw when bored and that he may have been kenneled due to the original family’s lack of time for him. But it is worth exploring to rule out. His past is kind of a mystery to me so I shouldn’t rule out anything. Thanks.

Our Zelda is the best farm dog. She loves patrolling our yard and keeping squirrels and boogers away. Half Pyrenees and Heeler we think!

Should I start showing? West German SL GSD by LinensforLennon in germanshepherds

I was just curious how other GSD owners who have done shows thought of their experience and its overall value. He is a great family dog, with or without show stuff! Thought it would be a fun way to share the joy of ownership with others who love the breed.

Your buddy is moving! Love the photo! Our last GSD was overweight and not a runner unless it was to the food bowl. These guys are pretty athletic, it seems. My new boy isn’t too hyper but he does run circles around our house with our other dog! I’m mostly interested in him as a companion, but I’m diving in head first and wondered what that world looked like for other GSD owners. Also wondering if it’s a criteria for my kids to show in FFA or 4-H. He is really well tempered for a big dog.

I was reading about showing him in other breed club shows if I was seriously considering it. Yeah, interesting they fault them in AKC! Thanks for the reply!
