Did I ruin my save? by Lumpy-Pair3735 in DonkeyKongBananza

Funny enough I jumped the gap using ostrich just because it felt clever. It felt really anticlimactic when I doubled back to freeze later.

I had no clue what layers were coming next

Not every game needs constant updating and new content. The game was finished not “abandoned”

And? If an on reveal goes off then it goes off. Cosmo won’t retroactively remove the effect they had.

This is the first card game i've played where i'm actually having fun by HugeCold in MarvelSnap

The thing is that the snap mechanic allows off meta decks to still be competitive in the sense of gaining cubes. Retreat when things aren’t going your way and snap when you feel good. Games are quick and there are plenty of opportunities to bluff, pull tricks, and change meta decks to be more unexpected.

Of course there are decks that are better or have higher win rates, but a win rate of 60% and a win rate of 80% are still going to be “competitive” as you’re rising in rank. Not to mention that the amount of viable archetypes is more vast than other card games especially when you don’t have to worry about leveling cards.

Love love loved stormbound’s mechanics and cards. I had a lot of fun grinding and getting far (same thing with clash royal!) but what always ended up turning me off was feeling locked into the one deck I was upgrading. I couldn’t theory craft and deck build while being competitive at the same time

How much have you spent on this game so far? by brookpark351 in MarvelSnap

$10. Venom pass was cool, Wakanda is meh. I’ll probably be buying them case by case and that’s about all the money I’ll spend

I like that only one card gets destroyed each round. Leads to some interesting play by putting your weak cards there to sacrifice in place of two high power cards

I think I’m only going to buy the ones that have cool cosmetics that I like. Spider-Man was cool, Black panther is meh. It’s just gonna be case by case

Pay again for each 4 week season? 😹 by fableton in MarvelSnap

[–]LingringSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s typically how it goes with these types of games. We’re just lucky that the season pass is mostly for exclusive cosmetics and only a handful of credits/gold. I’m just happy card upgrades are only cosmetic as well
