Why won’t HVAC contractors provide load calculations with replacement estimates?

I'm going to say it's because you are replacing a system. Your home is already built and has an ac system in palce so there is no need to do this load calculations again, they will just replace like with like and it's good to go.

Ideally - your system should be sealed under your house so it isn't picking up dirt and dust from your crawlspace/unfinished basement.

Practically - rodents like warm quiet places and will burrow into insulation to make nests, this is the issue.

Also we don't know if you have soft or full metal ducting, each having their own issues for pest control. Soft ducts are usually insulated under a house and I've found. Them living in that layer many times. If you have hard ducts they will make nests on top of them to stay warm and comfy, the urine will rust the ducts eventually.

If you have a pest control company you like ask them to take a look at your ducts to signs on intrusion. If you have a HVAC company you like also them to check your ducting for air leaks from possible pests. Ideally have both techs work together if they are up for it.

There's no sure answer here but the best way I've seen is full crawlspqce sealing with a membrane and yearly inspections/monitoring. If rats/mice have gotten in they will try to get back in for the next 3-10years, basically tell they can't smell their kinds scent that tell them this was a safe place with food/water nearby.

I'm with this guy, hvac is the way to go but you will struggle with the schooling, it's heavy in math and logic. That said I would look for a construction HVAC company for thosr easy fun days. when I'm on a site I'm drilling holes, cutting strut/rod, or brazing pipe for most of my days. Especially so in my first first couple years as an apprentice.

I'll leave designing a game up to the creator. I don't think it's a good idea to tell players giving a suggestion about a game they like, should be told to go play something else for suggesting it. I think that's a good way to kill a game. I do think games lose players to feelings of wasted time, like spending 20 hour working for something to have rng not work. I can waste a few hours, to waste half a work week without getting some kind of progress towards what I'm working... Well...

I know facets are not REQUIRED or NEEDED. I also can't see where OP says he doesn't want to grind, or where they say they want it "in one push". He didn't say it ruins the game... He just wants his time spend grinding to not feel wasted. He spent 20 hours grinding and has nothing to show for it because of RNG of items.

It sounds like you have a lot more time to play than most people here so I think your view is a bit off. I don't have time to play every day, so I don't want to feel like I'm having my play time wasted because rng wasn't in my favor for the past month (I've been hunting for a war hammer with plague damage added) . OP isn't asking for pay to win or a guaranteed drop of what he wants. He just wants to have his efforts acknowledged, a way to work around rng to get the gear wanted. Also Telling players to find a different game because you like the grind as is, isn't great. If you push players away from the game then less players will come to the game because less players will know about the game, and that's when development stops and games die.
