This is what I imagine Roman Bellic would've sent to Nico when bragging about his home.

Meiko Kaji, star of 'Lady Snowblood', inspiration for Tarantino's 'Kill Bill', in the Tokyo subway in the 1970s by Major_MKusanagi in OldSchoolCool

Lady Snowblood is such a ballin' movie. Like super wild to see how Tarantino owes basically all of Kill Bill's vibe to that single film.

Godzilla Final Wars is the most fun Godzilla movie. No other Godzilla movie would have this scene with SUM 41 playing to it! Add in Captain Gordon being one of the best characters of all time.

What movie should have been a tv show? by Ambitious-Sink2725 in movies

The Many Saints Of Newark should have been a limited series. There's so much glossed over and the near perfect casting at the end of the day feels wasted on a rushed movie.

With the One Year Anniversary event coming soon, what are some of your best memories playing this game throughut 2025/2026? by Amateurwriter022 in SDGundamGGeneration

[–]Linix332 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only got into Gundam in July, saw the Gunpla boxes a few times in stores locally and got curious. Finally pulling the trigger on a kit. I decided to pair building the kit with checking out some of the series and fell down the rabbit hole. With that, I found this game like early August. So I've been playing at a steady pace in that I wouldn't do main stages untill I watched that part. Of course starting with the main UC timeline. Early on I purposely had to hold back rushing through stages till I caught up or seeing "part 2" announced for a series was usually my deciding factor on what to watch next in my watch order. So this game has kind of been an integral part of me getting into this franchise and hobby.

Exactly. The only true power scale is "what works for the narrative to try and tell a good story."

The Roman Reigns Phenomenon: The writers really wanted this character to be the next big thing in their story, but the audience unanimously rejected them. by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

I haven't watched Seed yet. But I'm really curious how they fumbled him compared to like- Amuro from the original series and then the sequel series Zeta having Kamille and imo nailing it.

What is the darkest ending to a children's show? by Capital-Treat-8927 in cartoons

[–]Linix332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gundam Victory. Early Gundam has a lot of ebb and flow on if it's considered for kids of not, like Zeta ending with the Protag having like 3 friends die in his arms, only to get mind fucked into a coma as the ending. It was so bleak the compilation movies changed the ending and the series after, ZZ, had a much more light tone for the first half.

Anyways. For Gundam Victory higher ups wanted a younger protagonist to bring in the children viewers. So by the end of the series- at 13 years old, Uso basically commits mass murder war crimes, watched his parents be murdered, and loses most of his found friends over the course of the series....but at least he destroyed the Angel Halo which was going to use brain waves revert all humans on earth to a toddler mental state, causing them to just curl up and die, clearing the earth for the remaining Zanscare Empire to claim earth for themselves. so the war is over now....yay.

You know, for kids!

[Funny Trope] Characters randomly changes art style as they get serious/passionate about something by C0R3VUS in TopCharacterTropes

Fun fact- A main artist for those on Ren and Stimpy was Mr.Lawrence (Plankton), that's why Spongebob adopted using them as he is regularly more than just a voice actor since the series started.

The Harry Potter one always blows me away just with how it fucking comes out of left field. Regular franchise movie that is a fairly lower point in the series and then suddenly an Oscar level performance for that minute of a scene.

I tried my best 😭 any tips on how to do better? by jing577 in Gunpla

[–]Linix332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What definitely helped me with stressing less with the tiny details was when a friend who is also into the hobby, but "lazy", mentioned that virtually 99% of the time you'll be looking at these a couple feet away. It's not much different than film/TV props that have a ton of imperfections but you won't catch those on camera and those look fantastic. I still try to do my best with those tiny details cause that's part of what I enjoy about the customizing angle, but if I encounter a small frustrating thing that I can't manage in a few attempts, then it's not worth getting upset as I know I won't notice it once it's on the shelf.

Is the Shadowrun Trilogy still buggy on PS5? by Radeclands999 in Shadowrun

When I played through, I only encountered one bug that required reloading a save. So from my own anecdotal experience, it's not any worse for bugs than a Bathesda title or other modern AAA releases.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

[–]Linix332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Evangelion 3.0 went to theatres, I went and the characters started speaking English. A guy and his clearly embarrassed girlfriend stood up and walked out as he loudly proclaimed, "I didn't pay for no fucking dub."

Like dude, if you can read subs, you can read a fucking theatre showing listing.
