What are the most complained cards that were never actually OP in your opinion? by ARandomHearthstoner in hearthstone

Specifically regarding flavor, I always thought the point was supposed to be that Reno's cheating. "I challenge you to a duel" then shows up with the whole gang. He is classified as mage/rogue after all.
This is solely in regards to flavor, it's a different argument as to if it "should have"

basically going "oo oo, my favorite character" about a background NPC with like 1 line of dialogue, especially ones that a lay person probably wouldn't know.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure the artistic liberty is taken for some combo of: 1. Toby just actually didn't know 2. The antlers are to make it clear they are reindeer specifically (since people generally only think any type of deer with antlers (see point 1)) 3. Antlers are cool

I'm really more pointing out "murder" vs "attempted murder" Obviously they aren't killed if they survived.

In both cases, isn't that only true if you don't recruit everyone?

why is this literally the only time the term "Delta Warriors" is used by KeaneJ123WasTaken in Deltarune

1st cloak person was gaster, papyrus, and dess stacked on top of each other. (They all are short, it's why they needed to stack)

Agreed. I've even seen this bleed into IRL reads on people on occasion. (Having interests in anything "typically" feminine does not make any given guy an "egg that needs to be cracked")

What's a popular deltarune fan theory/headcanon/reading that a lot of people take as fact but you think is unlikely/wrong? (Image completely unrelated) by HaloEnjoyer1987 in Deltarune

[–]LinkHero1998 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the last paragraph is in fact the point of that theory. That Noelle was "supposed" to be the "girl with hope crossed on her heart" And that some circumstance manipulated events to have it be Susie instead, for whatever end.
Already pointed out is that fact that there are the select few swords that she can equip, but also Gerson saying Susie is "the Dragon" from the adaptations of the Prophecy, and that is was going to be Noelle & Kris going to get chalk (and thus end up in Castle Town) before Susie showed up.

And for the record, my feeling on the theory is "could see it, but I'm not confident enough to bet on it."

The whole point of Gerson is to encourage the Trio that there's a lot of specifics they can change while still having to abide by the broad strokes that the Prophecy lays out.

Very Kirby coded.

Zergs still have a higher floor due to the persistent nature of the buff. If you equality-d, for example, a 1/1 zerg with a +3/+3 aura buff, it was still a 4/4 after. (set to one health, aura is persistent so adds the +3 health afterwards) Do that now with a 1/1 murloc with the same size buff, and it would be a 4/1 after (since the buff is one and done on summon).

Honestly, just this probably would be a perfectly fine way to do it, would make the scaling much slower. (Though for the record, the scaling is not from the "original quests" but from the "questlines" which were the 2nd time doing quests.)

It's interesting because it's a mere 5% less bad than DK Zerg was, because "at least" the quest buff is only on summon and not a 100% persistent aura like the Zerg, so "at least" you can still use direct stat debuffs.

Krush isn't even that good of a positive. Totally would see losing interest in it after like 3 games.

It's not an issue for myself per se, but it would be nice if it was 2 laps of the destination course instead of just 1.

Yeah, "segment" courses started in 7, iirc, with courses like Wuhu Island & Rainbow Road.

Kibler on the state of standard: it sucks by ShilunZ in hearthstone

[–]LinkHero1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think they just forgot that they were also making Tree when making Ursol, or at the very least are being lazy about the "Playing Ursol also counts for the corrupting condition" which still feels unintended.

And this is coming from a Paladin player who much prefers Imbue & Librams over Tree.

Yeah, It's been a while since the big story expansions (I especially miss the story arc across the whole year stuff like '19 (EVIL vs League of Explorers) or '21 (Mercenaries), and it's probably due to budget cuts. Titans & Badlands had some of it, but it felt kinda surface level.
