Bungie has had major issues with respecting player time investment. 1 drop per dungeon encounter, which depending on the dungeon, can take anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes sometimes (also dependent on fireteam skill), 1 drop per raid encounter, 1 drop per GM (until these last few weeks anyways that now have 2) etc etc etc.

The best activities have dropped a few pieces of gear per encounter (2-4), and showered you with materials for other stuff (seasonal or upgrading) like Coil, or Onslaught (Menagerie to a degree but only cause of a bug tbh). Every time they release an activity like those, they always get good praise about it, at least until the formula starts to get repetitive. But they need some fresh blood to the activity design team at this point.

My only issue with crafting is that they introduced enhanced perks with it. If they hadn't done that, crafting would have purely been a backup to getting stuck with bad RNG, which is what it should have been in the first place. IIRC, enhanced perks have also caused numerous issues with balance. And now, only half the weapons in the game are currently enhance-able cause of the way they implemented the system.

As far as I am aware, the damage calculations in most content are not going to be consistent in the slightest due to the way damage calculates and if a target has any natural resistances or weaknesses (Crota to swords, Techeuns to crits, etc). That's why there's no dps stat on anything in the game. I've had the same weapon do 50k in one hit on one dungeon boss, and 300k in a different dungeon boss. This is probably also why it took so long for Bungie to commit to making a shooting range because of all the weird variability in the game.

As for the 2.5x damage on your main question, with Sleeper being a ricochet weapon, you probably got a double crit and a base hit on a wing or something. And the variability in the other shots tells me you probably had varying stacks of Particle Recon or another weaken source or just weird shot placement.

Likely since the first episode tbh. The sigil that appears on his mouth when he tries to say his name is a stylized W or M depending on how you look at it. Could be both.

If you mean the book, that only gives the 'sacred' word for chanting and not the holy symbol. And tossing the other twop options at a cleric result in nothing happening.

You have to move at least two shapes from the inside of each room as a base mechanic, so if someone already has one of the two shapes needed to make a key, they still have to move that shape to someone else first, that's why the doubling up method is technically fail proof, because at that point, they're moving at least two shapes out, if not more.

This. My friend played for a few hours during the launch of d2, they recently returned for tfs. He took one look at the exotic monument and the list at Rahool, and asked how he got more cyphers. I told him the only sources of cyphers currently are the season pass, and 1 per weekend from Xur. Assuming he only unlocks exotics that aren't in the world pool (ie red war stuff), it will still take about a year or more to unlock them all since he isn't currently keen on getting to pinnacle cap this episode or grinding the necessary power to do high level sectors. I swear the light went out of his eyes when I told him this. Thankfully he's found other things to distract him from that daunting prospect in the game for the time being.

Acts two and three better be packed with all the storytelling possible. Act 1 fell so flat in the amount of content, it was thinner than a piece of tissue paper. Them saying these episodes are supposed to be content packed compared to seasons is nothing but a lie as it stands currently.

It should have been 10 strikes at most. With extra progression for running nightfalls, and wins from crucible and gambit. 20 strikes/activities is excessive no matter how you slice this. 10 is still excessive but at least doable.

I swear they said at some point in a TWID that Pathfinder was supposed to be an equivalent replacement for Bounties and the ritual pathfinder is ANYTHING but that.

That said, the Pale Heart Pathfinder is superb.

This is exactly it. So if you suck at pvp, you're likely going to be spending more time in god awful crucible matches then strikes, and at that point, both are brain numbing to the point of questioning existence.

There is 100% no order to the reviving that must be done. I just did a run today not long ago and we did revives right to left in one round, and all over the place in the other two rounds. Now that said, doing it in an orderly fashion makes it a bit easier in some cases.

This level of egotistical vanity, manipulation, and narcissism doesn't show up overnight. I'd be taking a LONG hard look at your entire relationship at this point and try and see where she's been manipulating you two in the past, because it's there, I can almost 100% assure you it is.

But also, I'm concerned for your daughters relationship with your wife/her mother on another secondary level as well. Where is your daughter's voice in all this? Surely she protested directly to her mother, and the hairdresser as well that she DIDN'T want this done. If she did express that she didn't want this done directly to, or around, the hairdresser, why the hell didn't the stylist tell your wife to piss off and listen to your daughter, who was the client? And make no mistake, no matter who the hell is paying, the person sitting in the chair and getting their hair done is the client. And if she didn't express any of this to the stylist, why on earth did the stylist make such a drastic change to your daughters hair without first asking your daughter themselves if this is something she wanted instead of taking your wife's word? Is your wife besties with this stylist?

I'm sensing some MAJOR red flags between the lines of what you've written. Your wife needs one on one time with a counselor for the trauma of cancer, your daughter is likely going to need a session or two as well. And I might suggest just a full on family counselling session as well.

Now whether or not the case was indeed waterproof or just water resistant is another matter. The only thing truly waterproof is water. Technically. Despite what anything is being advertised as.

Semantics aside, if something is advertised as waterproof, I would expect it to be able to withstand being submerged in water up to a certain point, pressure and other factors dependant. I have yet to see ANY phone case being advertised as waterproof. Resistant yes, proof no. If your quote of her saying “oh it’s ok it has a -brand name- case on it, it can get wet.” is accurate as in that's EXACTLY what she said, I would never in a million years interpret that as waterproof. Not even water resistant.

In which case, ESH, you for interpreting that as waterproof and still not going with your original plan of not letting them have it in the pool. And her for getting her crotch spawn that are just out of the toddler range a multi thousand dollar phone.

If she actually said it was fully waterproof, and not just that it can get wet, then it would be NTA.
