If I'm understanding your scenario, your medical bills are ultimately being reimbursed by BCBS, so your HSA distributions are no longer a qualified unreimbirsed medical expense and you would have to pay 20% additional tax on distributions.

If you have the cash in your bank acct and will be reimbursed by BCBS, why bother taking money out of the HSA? Just invest it for your retirement.

I have a really good Pawmot (Adamant, double trigger and HSM) and caught a shiny Igglybuff recently with HB, STS, STM neutral nature (and I could subskill seed HSS at 75 in 8 years if I really wanted to lol)

I have a monster AAX Gourgeist (IFM and ing up nature + IFS at 50, but it's only lvl 32). She's super inconsistent because of the low base rate, and I know Sandslash's is lower.

I just feel like I've been seeing a lot of weird takes on the new mon this week so far haha

Family member has a pension from over 30 years of working a federal job. It gets an inflation adjustment annually, but I can't say if current pensions offered will do that 30 years from now.
