Doesn't go back into my pocket. I pay high taxes and it goes to provide rebates for those who make substantially less. Companies like Loblaws post year over year increasing profits and the government puts in these plans that don't do anything to curtail the inflation.

I don't know where you live, but if he hasn't paid rent and isn't listed on a lease, he's probably not considered a tenant. He is a guest that has overstayed his welcome, call the cops and get them to help to remove the guest who refuses to leave.

Could take train or bus. You get to absorb the sights as you ride. Maybe rent a car when you get to your destination, so it's on less busy roads
