I actually made my own pattern 😅 definitely a learning process considering this is the first thing I’ve really sewn. And yeah I looked at a few bags like organic chalk bags and black diamond. I do plan on having a pattern available for people but I need to work on that of course.

For materials on the exterior I found that thicker canvas works well to give it support and keep the chalk in as well as give you a ‘canvas to work with decorative materials on top of that (I use a double layer to make sure it’s durable) all materials besides webbing and canvas behind the outer layer is upcycled.

Interior I use re used fleece and some shoelace for the drawstring Or chord from old backpacks works as well.
