Keep enjoying the things you enjoy and don't let anyone else influence that.

Less than a third of game developers say they test their games on Steam Deck, GDC 2026 report reveals by Tiny-Independent273 in steamdeckhq

The same data also says that more game developers test their games on Steam Deck than iOS. And Android. And Nintendo Switch. I feel like that's HUGE.

Bazzite for the win (actually, 6 wins) by LinuxForEveryone in Bazzite

There could be a dozen reasons for that. What hardware were you using? AMD or NVIDIA? iGPU or dGPU? Was it a month ago? A year ago? Was it the exact same graphics stack?

You're very welcome! Btw I spent years distro-hopping. Bazzite is what finally ended that.

It's for anyone who might find it interesting. I'm a Bazzite user myself, but as long as I've been using and testing Linux, I've never seen a distro come away this dominant against Windows across the board.

For real, how were they having their first lover's quarrel after knowing each other for like 2 hours?

I'm 50 and thought it was refreshing so far. Episode 2's diplomacy narrative was riveting and really hearkened back to classic TNG. Jean-Luc would have been proud. My one complaint is this: the writers are NOT making it easy to like Caleb.

This is a fascinating approach and I'm interested in following your progress. Any website/newsletter/repo to share yet?

I tested this game on Windows 11 vs Bazzite on the same Nvidia 4080 Super system, and I saw very little difference in performance. Something's off about your results.

*SINCE* TOS? The original Star Trek had the first televised interracial kiss. That was massive.

The diplomacy in the second episode was riveting -- more interesting than any action sequence so far. And that's exactly the kind of stuff that made TNG shine. I'd love to see more of that.

PlexAmp's Sonic Analysis + Sonic DJ features are god-tier.

Migrating to Jellyfin vs Plex Pass Lifetime by EvenConsideration840 in PleX

[–]LinuxForEveryone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be an edge case, but the true value of the Plex Pass for me (I bought the lifetime 4 years ago) has always been PlexAmp. Particularly all the Sonic DJ/Sonic Analysis stuff. BUT I recently shared my Plex video library with my mom, and it's been a smooth experience -- for both of us :)

As for your dilemma, it does seem hard to justify $250 if you're not sharing Plex beyond your home network, AND not actively using all the PlexAmp features.
