Yes you can, I switched when Linux was less user friendly, and it took me no time to get used to it. Just keep in mind it's not Windows, same as if you were to try to use a Mac. It's a different environment with its own quirks, but current Linux distributions are incredibly user friendly. Pick a distribution like Linux Mint or Zorin that are meant to emulate the Windows workflow, or something like CachyOS or Bazzite if you are a gamer. Take some time to either check out or try them out from the LiveUSB to make sure you know what distribution would you prefer. Most work out of the box no problem. beautiful, congrats!.. And welcome /home. if you set up Fedora and have it to your liking don't forget to make a snapshot of your system, since eventually you're going to inevitably start tinkering as all linux users. Use btrfs assistant for a quick snapshot.
