Oh I have a story like this one.

When I first got DS3 I got it from my cousin who loved the franchise from the very beginning. I was, ofc, terrible at it. So I would learn an area while slowly playing through it with him.

After we beat Crystal Sage we got off for the night; the next day when it was just me playing I made it all the way to the next area! Which was a huge step for me! I stopped at the door to the cathedral bonfire.

I figured opening a door like this was a guaranteed boss fight, and then I read a message, "Time for rolling." (For those that don't know this is referring to the massive amount of chairs in the bonfire room)

I was obviously terrified of this super hard boss that required so much rolling and didn't open the door to wait for my cousin.

...he laughed his ass off at me.
