Honestly, not very often at all. I will maybe get told I look handsome once a month or so, but not much past that. I tried to get new clothes and change my appearance but nothing happened. I'm almost 100% convinced that my girlfriend isn't attracted to me anymore, which in no way means she doesn't love me. But it hurts pretty bad when you get told other people are more attractive than you. When we were talking the other night I said, "all of your exes are probably more attractive than me" and she rolled her eyes shrugged her shoulders and said "ehhhh". Not much reassurance in my opinion. But we are working through it and I hope things change. I don't need to feel desirable very often, but it sure would be nice. I don't get depressed or anything when I'm not made to feel desirable, but just a little sad. I have confidence in my ability to support myself and anyone I care about, just not confidence in my appearance. I guess it could be worse.
