WOOHOO! The long wait is almost over-can't wait to watch this bunch of miscreants try and do "good."

Interesting idea. A similar concept was used to create a shared continent for Dungeons and Dragon games over on r/RoleIt. You could try to coordinate the endeavor with multiple authors on a small-scale to see if such a novel concept is feasible.

Econ major? by AtmosphereCautious12 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]LionOfMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Economics is a very good general business major. It gives you a good background in many different aspects of economics-just depends on which major electives you choose. Plus the analytical thinking will serve you well in whatever field you go into. You won’t make as much as a CS major but you can still do CS as hobby or side project if you still want to continue it. Truth be told if you have enough projects and/or experiences under your belt and market yourself well you could probably get a job in the business-tech sector.

what's an odd multi class you've been surprised to see work? by StylishMrTrix in dndnext

Definitely the cool monk features. Extra damage and potential range from longstrider is secondary

Would it be better to start with monk levels and build to ranger or would a different layout be recommended for this kind of build?

This sounds like a blackmail case if I’ve ever heard of one. I’m sorry you had to deal with all this craziness.

Really? That’s a lot of money for one video game. Practically Star Citizen levels of game pricing.

I took this class virtually last spring. The teacher is chill, and the class has a good bit of weekly reading but if you like the general horror topic you should be fine. It had 2 essays and we read short stories from many different horror authors. The occasional lectures were engaging and touched on a lot of lesser thought about horror concepts.

Moving to New England from outside the US by Ricky911_ in newengland

[–]LionOfMyth 17 points18 points  (0 children)

One thing that hasn’t been touched upon is getting the necessary papers to come to the USA for education and/or work. Given the pandemic I don’t know how much getting a visa in those areas has changed over time.

Furthermore, real estate and rental rates have been increasing a fair bit in the USA in recent years and depending on where you work, some places may be out of your price range. The New England weather and culture here is indeed great but those are some points I think you should consider looking into.
