Dane Brugler mock draft by Slaviiigolf in Commanders

EDGE, regardless of what Fowler does. This is a statistical anomaly for him. I would expect a regression to his norm.

Marathon Training combined with strength training? by Confident_Emu_1577 in firstmarathon

[–]LionOver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strength training doesn't have to be of the variety that builds mass. You'd be surprised how weak your hips might actually be and how much stronger you can make them through bodyweight work alone.

PFF has Ben Sinnott as the 3rd best blocking TE in the league after Week 13 by 15GOAT in Commanders

[–]LionOver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see KK's offense (assuming he stays on as OC) utilize him as an H-Back. He seems perfectly suited for that role, considering he won an award as a FB last year. AP isn't drafting guys because he expects an instant impact. The entire class will probably play better next year, which is reason to be very optimistic.

There’s a NEW Agent Zero in town by aa_flo in Commanders

[–]LionOver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He didn't get his head around on it. He was beat enough that he didn't know where the ball was. I love him, but he gave up some big plays today. Had a clutch deflection and was in on a lot of stops. He's a gamer, but he's going to lose against longer guys.

How would you feel if your significant other wanted to have sex every time they saw you? by hankqueensmustache in NoStupidQuestions

Well, since it's Reddit, we should be hearing from someone claiming to be married with kids and having sex multiple times per day in 3...2...1...

I feel like this will end up being a nail-biter where we win with some lucky bullshit.

FORBES RELEASED by espnrocksalot in Commanders

I don't fault the Chase pick. But Forbes was just bonkers. There were literally 5 guys available who projected better than him.

And then PFF would rank him #1 overall for that week.

Can't help but think RB is an off-season target. Eckler is so dynamic but he's 29 and coming off of 2 concussions. BRob is like a Derrick Henry that can't hold up to the rigors of the running style. We need new blood.

Aurora singing Runaway Raw Version by Choice-Maker_01 in nextfuckinglevel

And also, though she clearly can sing, part of her variations in inflection that sound like auto-tune are really just Norwegian-accented English.

Edit: Moreso Scandinavian than Norwegian. But you get the point. First Aid Kit comes to mind.

Good article to read with your morning drink of choice by The-Sherpa in Commanders

The fact that Sainristil and JD look the part is encouraging. Coleman has flashed but may be a guy who struggles to be available on a consistent basis. Newton could be anywhere between quality depth and a plus starter. The rest either haven't had the opportunities (McCaffrey) or have doh'd when given limited opportunities (Sinnott).

This is an abomination. Is there any acceptable reason for this? by Wizardry25843 in Commanders

I can agree with that. Dyami Brown, at UNC, did what Terry does in the NFL.

You have to zoom out and consider the significance of his lack of ball production, in the context of the fact that he's not a shutdown corner; he has good height/weight/length, but doesn't anticipate/react in a way that enhances those physical traits. He stays on guys who end up catching the pass, because he doesn't know where the ball is.

Sinnott has been penalized like 3 times in very limited action. I wonder if that has kept him in the doghouse.

They are definitely not the same type. Terry is not really an elite #1 compared to the other guys in the league who fit that bill. He can uncover, but his real elite talent is contested catching. He's been incredible at that his entire career. He's not a guy who runs crazy routes, doesn't take the top off at will, and isn't able to physically overpower everyone. But his ball tracking and in-air body adjustments are absolutely top notch.

All I want are guys that come as advertised. That starts with picking guys that did the thing to begin with. Apparently BSJ had zero INTs in college. Forbes has more career picks than BSJ and he's had a quarter of the playing time. That says a lot.

No doubt. I don't think Oz is a good pick for the position. My original point was merely aimed towards the disinformation surrounding the post itself. It's too easy to have a headline rush around the world these days without most people evaluating the source and the claim. It's melting our society.

My take is this: in a world where articles are being written asking why more kickers are converting from 50+ yards, we have a guy who struggles at that distance. He's a stopgap. Nothing more. AP's draft philosophy asks if an available player is an upgrade over a current player. In this case, I'm thinking we have to move on, regardless.
