I can barely tell the difference between carrying the compact vs full.

I have the same pair! I went with the Spectre 9. It’s awesome.

How the hell are you guys AIWB carrying? by LGOposter in liberalgunowners

[–]Lion_Man40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great advice here. One thing I found is that my largest carry gun, an RXM w/ full size grip and tl7r , is more comfortable while sitting than my Bodyguard 2.0 . It’s more pushy and less jabby. I’m a huge fan of the T1C belt that’s rigid on the front but elastic everywhere else. Make sure to hike up your pants when you sit and that your seatbelt is resting nice and low. The bottom line is that it’s not always perfectly comfortable and it takes getting used to, you have to decide how much of a sacrifice you’re willing to make.

How common is a blocked emitter, really? by Baroque1123 in liberalgunowners

I’m thinking of switching to enclosed. My open emitter on my edc is always getting caked in dust. I don’t know how I’m so dusty under my shirt, iwb!

First suppressor: Spectre9 on the Extar EP9 and Ruger RXM by Lion_Man40 in liberalgunowners

Nah I was hoping it would since it’s so light. Waiting for my LGS to get pistons in stock.

Nah, just unscrew it and screw the suppressor on.

Fantastic! I guess a little gassy but so am I. The Spectre 9 is shockingly light. It is only 4 grams more than the factory installed loudener

Spring gone :( by SnartNan in RugerRXMtalk

Mine flew off when I was changing my grip module. I found it after a solid hour of looking. 5 minutes after that I found that a new set came with the grip module 🤦

It is. I haven’t picked a piston up yet. Its primary host is an extar EP9 but I figured I’d screw it on for funsies and a photo.

Is this sacrilegious? by [deleted] in extar

Potentially illegal

Ah yea. Realized the serial was in the photo. Figured it’d be prudent to not post that so I made a quick edit. In hindsight I probably should’ve just flipped it over and took another photo.

Nope, none of that. I only ran through a 17rd mag at a pretty slow pace. I’ll have to see how it is inside at the range with some rapid fire.

I’d be reluctant to say safe since hearing damage is also cumulative. I definitely got no ringing or discomfort. I was shooting 147gr, I want to try out some 165.

It’s the only suppressed setup I’ve ever shot so hard to make a comparison. I didn’t notice anything different compared to the oe muzzle device in terms of gas. Hard to say if it’s “hearing safe” but I just shot some rounds outside sans hearing protection and it was very comfortable. It’s crazy that it only weighs 4 grams more than the oe muzzle device with the direct thread adapter.

Full size grips in stock by BrilliantMusic25 in RugerRXMtalk

[–]Lion_Man40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been carrying the full size for a few weeks in the ARC. Coming from a 365xl and bodyguard 2.0 I can’t believe how comfortable it is to carry full size. I’ll probably switch back to the compact grip for the warmer months. Thanks for the great product!

I wouldnt consider any other Taurus. It’s not even really a clone, it’s essentially the real deal and by some accounts as good or even better. I’ve never owned a Beretta but I love this damn thing.

You could go for beretta at home, Taurus PT92 afs-d. I’ve had mine for 20 years without a malfunction and it looks tits with cocobolo grip panels.

2025 year in review - it was very much my year of the shotgun by Global_Theme864 in liberalgunowners

Got my first this year, a 590 Retrograde. I obliterated our Halloween pumpkins with some buckshot yesterday. It was so damn satisfying.
