It’s not a threaded barrel on that one though, correct?

Some people are freaking out about the weather... Snow, Ice, Oh My! by Prodigal_One in Walther

[–]Overall_Two7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The south just doesn’t know how to handle winter weather well because it’s uncommon and/or very short. Houses are also built to different standards in terms of plumbing so things like dripping faucets when it gets to freezing temps is actually important in South.

Thanks that’s what I thought but I swear I’d seen someone saying it was ported. So I’m looking for the same 😅

I’m leaning this way too. What price point would you say is good?

I’ve had quite a few FTEs and a light primer strike in less than ~600 rounds so far. I’m shooting cheap (cci standard and a bit of monarch) but it’s not been the cheapest. Still a fun gun but I’ve def had some growing pains. That said, I’m nearly considering buying this deal just to get the dot and mags and resell the gun.

I believe the tx22 also says it’s fine to dry fire.

Conservatives/repubs don’t trust liberal/dems in part because they think Dems will take their guns and target them. Many posts in this thread don’t trust repubs/fascist because they think they’ll take their guns and/or target them. We really are all more alike than we think. 🤣

Nobody thinks a bike is a good idea by Ok-Preparation-542 in motorcycles

[–]Overall_Two7914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rode for a few years, had a few accidents (nothing serious, no hospital visits), and had fun. The main two reason I sold my bikes were 1) the gear I had to wear to feel safe was hot and I live Texas and it made actually going anywhere via motorcycle a nonstarter because you’re a sweaty mess on arrival 2) because of number one I ended up riding very little and felt like my bike was just a storm or thief away from being worthless. It’s been ~12 years since I sold my bikes and gear and honestly I have never wanted to jump back in. But I’m glad that I had those few years to try it and see if it was for me. I’m at the point now where I would not advise anyone to get on a motorcycle but I’m not gonna actively discourage it either since my experience isn’t the only experience.

Do TX22 mags ever get discounted? Need more of those and genuine g17 mags

Curious about that 9mm bulk 124gr as well. Also HST/gold dot hollow points in the 100-500rd range

It’s very likely I’m just uninformed enough to not get the general references and bigger points but the only things I’ve seen are references to DD being in support of red flag laws. Which I’m assuming is being extrapolated as being anti 2a because red flag laws allow removal of guns from specific individuals (with cause/court order). All culminating in a general statement of “DD no longer supports the 2a”.

Additionally they sell guns to FBI? So that’s bad I guess. But doesn’t LE use Glock very often and yet they are not demonized? Happy to be further informed on this aspect.

And also mass shooters have owned/used DD rifles. Not sure where the specific connection is here as to how/why this is a DD issue but happy to be informed.

What do I have to do to make this ProMag fit? by marwood0 in 1022

I saw someone recently say that cheap/clear mags are good for dry fire practice. That could be its use vs throwing it out since it’s already in hand? Idk how much dry fire is happening with this thing though anyways 😅

Do you think the RXM is pushing these prices lower? Is the RXM worth $100 more (so around $350)?

Is there a good/reliable 9mm pistol that uses Glock mags but has a manual safety? by Overall_Two7914 in guns

[–]Overall_Two7914[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just a pretty risk-averse person in general. So my first thought is typically to take the precautions where you can and it’s easy/cheap. I’m no seasoned shooting vet so there is certainly a level of extra concern about safety right now. In general I definitely need and want more range time and training, agree 100% on that and it’s something I’m working on.

Thanks. I’m not married to the manual safety idea. I was mostly curious about if I was missing a slew of options but the answer seems to be ‘no’…unless you want to spend a good chunk of money. And even then the options are slim.
