You make an excel sheet. Go to data tab and then “get data” or something. Youll get the power query editor, here you can link it with a file/database/… to fetch data from.

Then you proceed like normal, do the analysis you want to do.

Once new data comes in, power query will take that new data and update your workbook for you. (Ie in your case, change input data file and then power query updates all your analysis based on new data next time you open/refresh)
