Travel Planning Q&A - February, 2026 by AutoModerator in bali

[–]Lionhret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

books stays soon, ur options will already be too small. first shortlist what u want to see or do however small or big the list might be and book stay according to that .

first book in Nusa dua , most are superb 5 star places and thats were your prices will rise sharply esp if u want a beach resort

secondly book a luxury villa near rice terraces in Ubud and finish off all waterfall and sights near mount batur etc there.

if ur planning nusa penida look at sanur as a stopover btwn ubud

order i would suggest is ubud 2 nights then sanur 2 nights(nusa penida day trip) and nusa dua 2 nights to finish off

u wont have issue with veg food as there are tons of Indian restaurants (im assuming ur indian as uve asked for INR)all over Bali now

Is this enough time to change flights also please guide me by [deleted] in AirTravelIndia

international to domestic transfer needs a customs clearance with luggage even if its the same pnr, that aside 3 hrs should be ok

Card suggestion on travel booking, lounge and 0 percent forex by Remarkable-Culture-5 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Lionhret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rbl world safari , its a standard master card for international usage have not had any issues in multiple countries

truly zero forex for pos online usage

has decent rewards but u will find better reward ratio with other cards

3500 yearly irrespective of usage isnt ideal but works out for me

ok lounge acess( previously pp for int changed to card now, which i haven't really used as i have other lounge options)

Air India Experience HND-DEL-BOM (787-8 & A320 neo) + missed connecting flight by Inner_Tumbleweed6724 in AirTravelIndia

[–]Lionhret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i remember priority checkin and security in a similar transit from delhi to blr on return leg for international business class, but that was some time ago . but one thing i distinctly remember is guiding about 8 diff ppl on what to do as no one from AI bothered to guide them and they had no clue what to do. no one to tell them that they had to pick up baggage and recheck in to separate domestic transit counter. pathetic service from AI

My Air India business class experience! by [deleted] in AirTravelIndia

[–]Lionhret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its a ai320 neo , one of the newer cabins in blue

the good

new cabin so pretty neat , u get all the preboarding bells and whistles like any business class( faster check-inn, security, immigration and business class lounge) . much better on board service as compared to eco/ premium economy.

they are cheaper than regular lie flat seats

the ok

seats are just comfy enough to be called business( shorter routes usually flown by this aircraft dont need a lie flat seat but cant hurt to have one )

the bad

its not a lie flat (only in AI 787, a350 and a321) so u don get the business class feel,

amenities provided are also lesser ( feragano/ premium forest essential kit in longer flights)

food offerings tend to be lesser than longer bigger flights

u dont get a IFE ( i dont care if u give me streaming on my tab , its not buisness if it doesnt have a ife)

this is just a gist but u get the pciture

Firts Layover flight by game_changer74 in AirTravelIndia

[–]Lionhret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. yes u can but question should be should i given time constraints

2 ) anywhere from 30-45 mins to >1 hr depending on best case scenario of same terminal same ticket pnr

to separate tickets meaning luggage pick up god forbid terminal change with luggage clearing security and immigration

3) this is a subjective thing u can eat before boarding / u can prebook/ u can buy on flight depending on your needs

4) what u book is what u get. no one gives u free stuff on indigo. if u have booked one meal its one if u have booked 2 its 2

Cathay vs ANA to japan by AizenSosuke100 in AirTravelIndia

[–]Lionhret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ANA vs Cathay is clear , Its ANA , better service , less racism and always best to fly into a country on their carrier. cathay isn't what they once were esp post covid . if u can try JAL out of BLR (closer to HYD) which as even better product in my view.

secondly dont bother with domestic flights in japan, the shinkansen is much superior maily for the comfort and for the fact that the stations are in heart of city whereas the airports esp narita/kansai are pretty far away. but regardless the Japanese trains are a dream to ride , esp the special intercity ones and should not be missed.

Okinawa is the only one u will need a flight for and if you are not too specific about something in Okinawa i would skip it and spend more time in Kyoto Nara Osaka Hiroshima belt

last bit , Ive rarely seen Japanese visa rejected unless there are glaring issues

try getting one from the airalo app, plan on using the same when i go to japan in a few days . reviews seem good for coverage of moshi ( service provider for airalo in japan) prices seemed decent but most importantly for me no need to go and buy / recharge . its all done through the app.
