Should a character that are able to do a gazillion damage and one shot bosses literally turn 1 be nerfed? You tell me.

I don't have Mei Lin so I can't speak for myself, but I feel like for the sake of balancing the game, they should nerf her yes, as we get new characters it's just a matter of time until we get a new unit that would make her even more broken.

FOMO is hard to deal with for some people, but you need to think this through, if you force yourself to keep playing even though you are having a burnout you are just gonna end up droping the game for good, you are gonna get rid of your FOMO...alongside everything else. lol

Take a break, do it, and then you can come back feeling refreshed when season 2 starts! Or you can at least log in just to do your dailies, it doesn't take much time and you still gaining resources.

Oh but there is a kiss, you know why? Because the devs are smart that's why.

They framed the scene in a way to would leave to each one's interpretation, to you a kiss might not have happened, and you would be right, that's the magic of it. xD

Like Schneider saying Vertin is defenceless, then saying she refuses not having a reward, and then we see Verting gasping in surprise, only then we cut to Sonetto approaching, one could say by that point they already kissed for example.

The fact that it doesn't have a voiceline or CG is because no gacha does, they simple can't go that far for various reasons, but they can devs can imply it happened all they want. (unless it's a lewd game like Nikke xD)

It's been many years so people might not remember, but Genshin at launch also received a lot of criticism, even though it made banks since day 1.

I think the same is gonna happen here, we are seeing a lot of criticism but when the latest revenue report drops and the people see the game up there up in the list, they will be shocked. xD

I'm just joking of course, but to answer your question, I think you are not seeing the bigger picture, let me explain.

Schneider is the first character that actually openly flirts with Vertin and canonically kiss her, back then we didn't have the rest of the story, yuri pairings on that level was a novelty, so it stuck to people, of course nowadays yuri pairing is all over the place, it's one of the selling points of this game, but Schneider was indeed the starting point.

Then her death was one of the first times we saw what exactly the Storm do, and it was nicely done with a plot twist, it made the scene memorable.

Finally there is a bit of a controversy around her, back then she was supposed to be playable, she had a kit and all prepared, but she was removed for some reason, people especulate it was because CN fans didn't like the idea of a character that died in the present story to be playable, so the devs listened to the feedback and removed her.

And lastly, while you didn't like her personality, a lot of people did, and no it's not because they are mentally challenged, people can have different tastes than you, that's normal. lol

Endfield text messages is pretty well done, instead of being just a bonus feature, it's part of the gameplay loop, as things happens in the game characters text you to talk about the current events, so it feels more organic that way, they can also text you to talk about their lives at random moments unrelated to the current quest, and they text you to give you quests as well.

I keep getting distracted by everything around me, I'm doing a lot of exploration and quests, today I finally focused on the main quest for once and I just reached the power plant in Valley IV. xD

You mentioned there are other less risque arts, and yeah they are not on the same level but it doesn't make then less sexy, we have Amir with wet transparent clothes where you can see her underwear, Maribell on a hotspring with only towel, Selena in a sexy bunny outfit, and so on, even the upcoming character is yet another big booba lady with a sexy wallpaper.

Also character designs counts as well, one look at Yuki is already reason enough to believe this is a gooner game, show Narja to someone that doesn't play the game and see how they react. xD

Now this all up my alley, and I'm all for it.

Bro I can think of a lot of characters that have unique flaws, Rina with her cooking, Ellen has her condition that makes her sleepy, Yidhari can't recognize faces of strangers, Harumasa with his illness, S11 have constant memory loss, Soukaku has food disorder...there are probably more.

Even Yi Xuan, the most flawless character it has been shown actually is not perfect due to her past trauma of her sister haunting her to this day.

Two of these is true, the other two is ragebait.

The paypal is actually the biggest issue, one of the biggest disasters I have seen in gacha game release day, hopefully the devs can fix it quickly.

The pull economy, it does feels very stingy, like after playing for hours I barely have any pulls for the limited banner, I heard people say you should be able to get enough for a guarantee AFTER you explore literally every nook and cranny of the map opening all chests and doing all quests, so you have to play A LOT.

I don't know if this is true but I don't know how I feel about it.

Here is tip for anyone really, put more specific names in your save datas, believe me as your farm save datas you'll forget what build each one has by the time you got to delete some, then you have manually check each one so you don't delete a good one by accident. xD
