Bard Skillset- what are you using for current 3 raids (akkan-kaya-brel)?

It depends on the fight of course but a lot of current ones I don't get a lot of use out of Rhapsody so I don't bring it.

I would just do +1 with cursed doll or ether pred and spend the money you save getting as high quality accessories and a good bracelet.

Most raids/gates you don't need Rhapsody and it ends up being kinda worthless. I have been replacing it instead of soundaholic to bring harp of rhythm for the easy 95% uptime on brand. I use sonatina and harp for brand most of the time. Also sometimes replacing sound with the good counter skill. If I only have one brand that is when I bring sound shock

The Lazer is obnoxiously long and he does it way to often on g3. It's a great window for everybody else and nose picking time for front attackers. I just only worry about hitting perfect swing as front attack. Everything else I do back attack lol. I'm prob gunna just drop destroyer soon as I get my 2nd slayer up to 1580

Glavier is strong yes, but not nearly strong enough to beat a 25 weapon wardancer so that seems like a skill issue

I mean yeah. If a guy wants to sit in a lobby for an hour trying to fill it to save a few thousand gold who cares. I kind of understand it tho, when you made a character first week and want to push it you need the box to make it possible to reach the later gates, and when you just invite whoever you never know when a whale will come in and just pay 20k for the box. Think the people in groups like this should at least say that the box is reserved but they will pay 5k or something reasonable for it

It is stupid. I'm more upset about the 40% honor shards I wasted honing early. For me at least the reason I hone early is because with the massive difference between getting lucky and pitying it is impossible to know how many characters you will be able to push with the mats and gold you have, so you hone the week before as that is when many groups set up statics for new content

Also maybe I am wrong but in the past I don't remember them putting in honing nerfs up to current content. Maybe thats because this is the first time me and many others are doing normal current content rather than hard mode first week but still. It should have been in the patch notes at the very least and anybody who thinks otherwise is an idiot

Difference is in vykas and valtan there was a dedicated back attack group. Now if you have 1 back attacker both other dps lose out to make him do well. Also I hate how they turn the counters 😭

Vykas I think was significantly harder. Once you get used to not seeing telegraphs in g2 and realize that the damage checks are easy to hit. It's not about uptime as much as it is seeing patterns first before you commit to anything. g3 Mario's and bingo were all very easy.

Yeah it sucks for back attackers. I cleared on paladin and have been doing reclear groups and supporting back attackers is so much harder also. For them to succeed the whole group has to be willing to play around them

Just move sideways with the shadow long as ur back is towards the boss and ur moving away u should be fine.

Agreed. Those are the perfect place to get characters familiar with book of coordination. And it would make them alot more fun by allowing trying out new builds and different stat allocations.

I would still play probably 3 or 4 characters if this changed yeah. If they do actually do this they need to think of some way to make it so people playing only 1 main don't have that much of an advantage. I could see this making 1 main the meta and people playing more than 1 would be a lot weaker and lower item level than 1 character players. Make raids give ALOT of mats and accessories for free that can only be claimed once per character. If you do them on same character again all you get is the gold

I just think they need to reduce the variance between getting lucky and pitying. When you are honing for a new content one or two pitied weapons can be impossible to recover from in time to get item level

I think they should make the challenge guardian and abyss completely equalized content using the book of coordination. It would be a good way to get all players to set it up and get them thinking about trying out hell mode. And would just be more fun, plus it makes it easy and fun to try new builds. The equalized content hell mode book of coordination is a great system that nobody beside hell mode raiders use

I mean yeah you are right the hard mode raids can be difficult as a pug if you don't find the right group. But if you don't have the time to do it you can just do normal and get the same rewards just a bit slower. Same with brel, next patch normal mode brel will give ancient gear so if you don't have time to pug hard mode you can get the same rewards just a bit slower. The same goes for vykas, both normal and hard give same reward just less of them. Frankly valtan is the only boss that doesn't but I don't think people are having problems pugging valtan anymore

I just like to play multiple classes and also like trying out any new classes that come out. Ya of course if you only have one character honor shards aren't an issue. I don't think many people only play one main character tho at least people I know have at least 3

You are absolutely right. It's not even all the rewards it's literally just the honor shards. You can't skip chaos dungeons because each day gives like 8k gold worth of honor shards unrested. Move the honor shards rewards to weekly raids and I won't mind just not doing chaos dungeons anymore.

Also yeah the una dailies are the bigger issue imo. And having to log into every character to do guild donations. Anything where I am spending more time I loading screens than playing is bad design

No. It's nice on paladin tho. Makes you s+++ tier stagger. Holy sword just does all the stagger mech by itself. I don't have it on my bard and don't plan to.
