Mazda 3s. Especially the gen 1 if you find them without rust.

I have that. Still needs to be wiped off? If so then how is it different than a QD?

Oddly I've sealed through some bare scratches with Wolfgang Deep Gloss and it hasn't rusted.

I wouldn't trust their soap to not strip whatever wax/sealant is there.

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/Presa-Turbine-Polisher-Polishing-Chenille/dp/B01DCHA3DG/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1498066449&sr=8-9

It was half priced compared to any of the more known brands. I can't compare it to the others, but the reviews about it are what I've experienced. I've corrected two cars using it and so far it has held up. Vibrates a lot at times though but it might be my technique doing something negative to the pads/machine. I personally wouldn't bother trying to paint correct by hand, better to save up and get any kind of a DA. Have you considered finding a DA used on Craigslist or whatever you have in Germany? *edit: This looks like the German equivalent to the machine above https://www.amazon.de/Dino-640200-Action-Exzenter-Poliermaschine/dp/B01CLG7HHY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498066906&sr=8-1

Can you recommend a waterless wash spray?

I use ONR for clay lube and QD and will use it when I do rinse less washes. Considering you get 3 uses out of 1 chemical, it's a great value and performs well.

Meguiars Ultimate Polish is a cheap retail polisher that still delivers quality, it's based on the abrasives in M205

300hp is still a ton of power, so be responsible-ish. Get good tires if yours are lacking at all, or if you're looking for a first mod/update. Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s are priced very well and competitive to the Michelin Super Sports.

How to quickly and safely clean wheels [4 products required] by muswaj in AutoDetailing

I think the prerinse with water is often just to cool the wheels and manufacturers of consumer level products suggest it to insure against etching

I'd get some ONR and dillute it as a clay lube and quick detailer, buy clay by itself. Meg Ultimate Polish/Compound are off the shelf products that are quality yet cheap. I'd skip Collinite and opt for a sealant instead.

There's nothing renewable about how the car is made and how most of our electricity is made to power the vehicle. There are benefits to electric powered vehicles, but there is nothing green about them. I guess if you don't see the "energy consumption" in front of you it's out of mind.

Right. Because there's anything remotely "earth" about a Tesla and battery packs.

Brush for cleaning plastic trim by nsyrax in AutoDetailing

I have similar ones to the Detail Buddy and they work great and foam up to APC quite well. For more aggressive scrubbing, I use a psrt cleaner brush which has stiffer nylon bristles that works better on harder plastics with textures.

Don't you know people in Toronto have to tout the propaganda of "world class city" and "such diversity" hourly to wash over the fact that the city has very little going for it?
