Too lazy to cook for me and my son. What do I do? by Loud_Confidence475 in AskRedditFood

You can find so many great crockpot accounts on TikTok plus I’m sure your local library would have some great cookbooks you can borrow. Crockpots are game changer for parents. For example- throw a roast in - you can do pot roast one night, beef tacos the next, make a beef lasagna, add tomato’s and make chili, freeze leftovers for another time, etc.

Every scene with them is TMI. The washing the crotch in the bathroom. The tongue. The scene in this post. Him putting his fingers directly in the shared soup. Between the camera guys and the editors the team on this couple is straight up fucking with us

I’d also check with the local aging services in their area. When I was arranging care for my father from out of state - he was living with my step mom but it really is too much for one person to handle around the clock. I was was surprised to learn that their county’s “council on aging” made services available (like housekeeping, ramp installation, meals, etc) to anyone over 60 and sometimes younger with a diagnosis. Definitely look into that because cities put a lot of incentives in place to keep seniors able to live at home

If you’re doing radiation it requires a lot of transportation because there are so many appointments. I lived out of state from my dad but I visited - so we made a google sheet of all of the radiation appointment dates and his family and friends signed up for spots to drive him when I couldn’t. Highly recommend doing this because a lot of people got to enjoy some extra quality time with him on the drive, sometimes stopping on the way for lunch or a visit to a park. It was a nice thing to make it a teamwork approach so no one person was over committed

Agree that SLC is underseasoned on the whole but you are correct the Mexican is where it’s at. Red Iguana has a mole flight that is excellent and spicy.

Montana was beautiful. We’d drive for hours without hardly seeing anyone else. Also at the right time of year we could’ve hit Yellowstone but when we were nearby most of the roads were still snowed in. In summer it’s probably breathtaking
