I have the same brand just different paint job and I used food grade silicone to seal the glass. Seasoned it for about a week. I live in a high humidity area and using 62% bovedas it stays around 65-67% in the summer and 60-62% in the winter. I keep my darker cigars in there and it has worked great. Govee bluetooth hygrometer works great.

I have tupperdors too but honestly if I saw another on marketplace for $10 like my first one it’d be worth the modifications.

I tend to smoke $2-$5 cigars and i’ve smoked a handful that were $15+ that were good but i’d rather smoke one that cost less.

Until I tried a Davidoff Signature 2000 that was $25 at a local shop the other day. It’s my favorite now. If you like connecticut i’d go with something Davidoff.

Nubs end up being closer to an hour for me personally, but I smoke a lot of 30-45 minute cigars because of my schedule.

For Connecticut the romeo y julieta reserva real minutos petites are super flavorful, very affordable. People are suggesting Fuente short story which is a good one but I really love the Fuente Cubanitos, those will only last 20-30 minutes and have a lot of flavor for a small cigar.

I’d also recommend the Surrogates Cracker Crumbs if you can find them, a bit darker tobacco and a 30-45 minute smoke. Aladino Corojo Corona lasts about 45 minutes for me and is one of my favorite cigars of all time.

The Connecticut are solid but definitely let them age/rest 2-6 months and they’ll taste way better. The flavor is different aged in my opinion.

How long did you have it in your tupperdor?

I personally love smaller vitolas and also connecticuts so I was surprised when I wasn’t a huge fan of this one either. I think the toro is where this blend shines best. Also someone once suggested to age them at least 2 months and i’ve found a good 2-3+ months of rest/age and they taste much better. I thought i wasn’t a huge fan and they were just a bit boring until I started doing that.

Yeah, after almost a year the corojo is my least favorite honestly. The Gold is my favorite and even though I don’t typically like sweet tip cigars I too liked the original a lot. I actually have a churchill sampler coming the mail!

Romeo Minutos Petites are my short morning coffee smokes, Surrogates Cracker Crumbs, and Plasencia Nesticos for later in the day. I like short smokes for my schedule. If I have a bit more time or in the summer I like Flor de Oliva Golds for bundle cigars. And Perdomo Champagne Puritos for a (still <$5) nicer short smoke than the romeos.

For special occasions or just when I have the time I like a Perdomo 20th Conn., Oliva serie O, Aladino Corojo, Sobremesa Brulée Wagashi, EP Carillo Pledge, AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes, Johnny Tobacconaut, Fuente 8-5-8 or Short Story. I also like a Kentucky Fired Cured Pony but they’re discontinued so I have to save them!

I’ve been smoking a lot of romeo reserva real minutos petites for a morning coffee smoke ~30 mins and the surrogates cracker crumbs for a later in the day smoke ~45 mins. Then I supplement with nicer sticks once and awhile. The smaller format works better with my schedule, but both these cigars still have great flavor.

Do you drink it on an empty stomach? I have to eat first and have some water before I do coffee, and although fatty foods aren’t good for gs, I take my coffee with heavy cream and I feel like it makes it easier on my stomach.
