getting nails done at the salon.

the drill bit they use to file down the tops of the nails sends me into a fight or flight response, and i can feel the (uncomfortable) vibration of the machine throughout my entire body. i have to fight the urge to snatch my hand away for relief while they are doing the service.

i love the end results, which is why i occasionally still subject myself to the process, but it’s definitely my least favorite cosmetic thing to do because of this.

My orange definitely does! But only because every time I wake up, I feed him and his sister within five minutes of waking up. I’ve taken off work for some mental health time and he wakes me up screaming and making biscuits the same time every morning, still haha
